My LG WM2688H Front Load
First thing would be to check that the drain is clear and not obstructed.
Follow instructions to clean out strainer.
Water retains in the drain tubes and causes a bad
The first thing to do is to CHECK IN AND AROUND THE RUBBER DOOR BOOT (called a bellow) for small articles of clothing (like socks and underwear) that may have gotten lodged in behind the rubber. Pull the rubber back where it meets the wash tub and look behind it. It is common for small items to get stuck here, become forgotten and start to mildew. You should check this area after each wash and clean it periodically to get rid of the formation of soap scum, mold, and mildew. HINT: When you get ready to wash a load of towels, take a dirty towel and clean the door boot thoroughly (including the areas behind the rubber). Immediately place the towel in the wash and run it on a sanitary cycle. This way you eliminate the need for cleaning rags.
PERIODICALLY RUN THE WASHER ON A CLEANING CYCLE. Place the washer on the hottest setting you have (usually a Sanitary cycle) with nothing but bleach in the wash tub. Some newer models actually have a "Clean Cycle" available now just for this purpose. This helps keep the wash tub, drain lines and pump sanitized.
CHECK AND CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER. Accumulations of debris in the drain pump filter can also cause odors. HINT: If you own a shop vac, pull the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum on the line. This will drain any residual water left in the tub, pump and drain lines BEFORE you remove the drain pump cover. This will prevent a messy clean up later.
LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN IF POSSIBLE. When not in use, leave the door open to allow the tub to air out and to keep mold and mildew from forming on the door bellow. I know this may not be desirable in some households with small children. If too much mildew forms on the rubber and it cannot be removed, replacement of the bellow may be required.
NOTE: This problem is common with front loader style washing machines. The doors on these machines have an air tight/water tight seal that is great for sealing the washer during the wash cycle, but can be terrible for collecting small garments and for not allowing the tub to properly air out when not in use. Following these simple preventive measures can go a long way towards preventing harmful mold and mildew, and towards extending the life of the door bellow and pump.

LG VM2455HG front loader OE Or OL error code don't
The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..

According to the manual, this is a control error, more than likely a sensor such as a thermistor. Call for service.
The washing machine will not drain.
If you haven't cleaned the filter for a long time, there is a good
chance that it is blocked up with junk that limits the system from
draining properly. Also, these front loaders
use HE detergent and had been filling the detergent cup up to the mark
but you because these use very little water during the wash cycle I was
advised to use only a few drops..

Hope your filter is clean. Don’t wait for the

You can use Affresh to clean your front loader. Deposits of soap and
other such
things can be stuck around the inside tub of your washer. Try this
product, it
works great on all front loaders. Use very hot water with the Affresh
pellet
with no clothes and run the machine through a cycle. Also helps with any
stagnant water smells. Put the Affresh
pellet inside the machine, not in the soap dispenser.

The selenoid valve has some trash in it. Take the valve off of the back. It should be just a few screws, a couple of wire plugs and one hose on the inside. Then a few screws to take the valve apart. Just slide selenoids off with a flathead screwdriver. Take the rest apart and clean the diaphrams with soap and a small brush or something. I hope this helps.

Probably not. It is there to prevent sediment from getting in the valve but it's not as likely to cause a problem with the hot water as it is with the cold. The hot has time to settle while it's in the hot water heater and the cold just comes straight through. You should be able to get another one at an appliance parts store or maybe even at a store like lowes.

I think you are talking about the door gasket. Use a mixture of bleach and water in the gasket and also in the drum. Most front load washer are notorious for mold and mildew. Run the washer in a rinse cyle to clean drum. Also clean your drain filter.
Odor from front load washer.
I had the same problem. I did all of the above. What worked for me was to spray the tub itself with a mixed solution of bleach and water. Let it sit for a while and run it on a quick cycle unloaded. Also I changed to powder det. with fabric softner in it. I found the outer tub had the mildew and this solved by problem.
