Lg tromm washer what does IE stand for?wash
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
LG's 'IE' stands for (water) 'Inlet Error'.
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(

Cycle wm2233h f1203cdp
LG WM2233H stop worrking in mid cycle, no displya First, I assume you have a working outlet and your circuit breakers do not reset or go off. Next are you hooked up to an ac outlet that has a circuit breaker in It (at the outlet) if those are OK, then I have to ask...Are you dumb enough to put your machine on an Extension Cord. If NO...Thenk God you not that Stupid! If everything else checks out to here try this. Make sure you have Cold water and it is ON! Run the machine with COLD WATER Only! If this still causes the problem and you have checked ALL Your WATER In lines are Clear and Free of Rust, kinked hose, and good water flow then we come to the End of the Road Almost! If the machine just Stops something is cuasing It to do this. Usually it is because the machine cannot get Water OUT of it to Drain!!! This is a COMMON problem and you need to order a New Drain Pump. YouTube has an extensive library of videos that show how to install them. If this is above your Knowledge Bank. Then you either Call For Repair Service Like Sears. Or if your machine is more than 7-10 yrs Old. Run the spin cycle very fast and throw a Concrete Block inside it! You need a New Machine cause your electrical panel is a goner. That is $400 Plus to repair!!! Hope this helps. Whatever you do ...Do NOT cal LG! They are Idiots, They make TV\'s, Phones, Stereos! They are NOT Appliance Savvy With Washers or Dryers! That is why there are so many complaints. Hey don\'t Kick yourself to hard! I bought One too! Remember these two Words....Whirlpool and Maytag If you need further help, reach me via phone at

I need a manual for lg washer /dryer model
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry, this forum is not able to supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Lg front load washer with a tE error code and
As many suggest, the tE error means there is a thermistor error. On my machine, simply unplugging the machine, tipping the machine backwards (careful! ... I put a few blocks under the front legs so I could work under the machine)...and the thermistor was under the drum, with a 2-wire lead going to it. It was easy to unplug, tighten the plug (squeezing the connector), plugging it back in. The machine has now worked fine ever since this simple procedure with no failures.
Washer leaks out of the bottom. checked drain hose
REMOVE THE TOP OF WASHER AND CHECK THE WATER INLET VALVE. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING AND FINALLY DISMANTLED THE WASHER UNTIL I FOUND THE HOT WATER INLET VALVE WAS LEAKING FROM THE TOP AND DRIPPING DOWN THE TUB AND ENDING UP ON MY FLOOR. IT WILL DRIP EVEN WHEN THE WASHER IS NOT ON DUE TO THE PRESSURE BUILT UP ON THE VALVE.
Will not run cycle when clothes are in machine
RUSTIN...RUSTIN...RUSTIN! I presume water is still in the Tub? Thought so...OK "IF" your Drain Filter, hose, and house plumbing are Clear...(Are They?) then it is your Drain Pump. Circuit Boards rarely go out and unless you are cutting wires, they don't fail either. A pump will, it either works...pumps OUT the water OR it doesn't. If it doesn't then the tub fills with water, STOPS, and goes on Strike! No it will not spin cause your machine would end up on the sidewalk thumping and clankin all the way! Change the Drain Pump. UN-PLUG DA MACHINE FIRST!

Why does water keep filling when cycle should be done?
You need to clarify EITHER Cold or Hot water. Usually it's the Cold water relay switch is "Stuck". You can remove the top of the washer (Un-Plug the dam thing first). Facing the washer like you normally do, Look to the mid-left, back of the washer. There are Two VALVES (COLD-COMPLEX AND HOT-SIMPLE). These are solenoids which are just a magnet that goes up and down when powered. You can "gently" tap each one with the handle of a screw driver. I herd that this works (It doesn't) so replace the Cold Water Valve (Expensive) about $40 +/- $10. The Easy one (Hot water) is only $12 and has one solenoid. Of course if One fails, the Other one is just waiting for you to complete THAT job to fail a week, month, or 10 minutes later. So do them both, throw them away, and then your water will fill as IT IS SUPPOSE TOO! If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Jet spray nozzle not spraying water.
If no water is coming out at all, it might be that the inlet filter is clogged or the Est. time shows the code IE. To clean out the inlet filters, unplug the washer, turn off the water, open the valves, take a filter cap thing and try rinsing it out. To put it back to operational use, reverse the steps above.
Will not drain
need to replace the drain pump motor,, this a common problem for LG washers, take it to an LG tech and have them replace the drain pump motor, not the circulation motor, there are two motors, dont be confused with the two. if not draining its the drain pump motor.
i would order a spare motor while your at it, it should be less than 60.00 for one. this is a common problem, i had replaced over a hundred so far.
good luck, n a feed back would be great........
