I suggest you download revo.uninstaller. Its a free program which can check what gets left behind after the suppliers uninstall software has done its job. You can save the film clips to a folder on your PC, then create the DVD from all of the ones you have chosen.

You do not need drivers to get the footage from tape to a Mac. You do require a firewire cable and use iMovie or Final Cut to capture.

I have used my Enviro MG21 with windows 7 and now Win 8 with no problems so I don't think it is comparability issue. Try opening up "My Computer" and see if Enverio appears as a device, if not try adding it via "Control Panel - then add device abd manually install via the on screen instructions"

Unfortunately, you'll need to use a computer that has WinXP or Vista in order to transfer what you have on the hard drive. So you have two choices: Go to a pawn shop or goodwill, etc. and buy an inexpensive XP computer - preferably a laptop. You shouldn't have to pay more than $100 for one of these. The other option is to send your camera to a repair shop or dub house that will copy the data to disc and return both to you. Expect to pay about the same $$ for this service. Make sure you're using an SD card, not a higher-capacity SDHC card. The GZ-MG21U works with SD cards, not with SDHC cards.

Remove the battery and check the voltage, if low the battery is faulty and needs to be replaced. if not the fault can be within, you need to check from a blown fuse to a failure in the motherboard.Attempt only if equipped.

It has USB port, so just copy the file over while you connect it to your computer with a USB cable, make sure your computer supports USB ver2.0 or above, to get the fairly good speed of file transferring speed.
You may need to install the driver/applications that came with the camcorder to get the recorded videos and pictures copied to your pc.

This is most likely a defective zoom rocker switch assembly and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.
