Try to reset by removing power cord for a while and plug back and see what happens.

If using composite (yellow, red, and white) it goes to a input with same.If using component (red, green, and blue) it goes to a input with the same.

yes posible power supply is defective if fuse blow then could be defective fet transisters as well shorting best way is to replace complete board if it was surge from electicity.

if you have speakers or a magnet or maybe an arial too close to your screen move them away. now try it. they can all interfere.

If your TV has more then 1500-2000 hours of usage chances are the power board is starting to fail due to the amount of heat that the parts are expose to when the TV is on. There seems to be a high failure rate on power supplies due to overheating.
The solution to get the TV working properly will be to have a new power board or repair the on inside your TV.

Hello, there are so many reasons why your TV won't bring out sound. You need to troubleshoot first, in order to get to the root of the problem, before a solution can be proffered. First, connect a DVD player to the TV, observe if there is going to be sound. If there is still no sound after connecting the DVD player to the TV, proceed to the next step. "The reason why I asked you to connect a DVD player to the TV is to confirm if the problem is simply not from the audio cord connected to the TV." Second, get an headset, connect it to the earphone jack of the TV and observe if there is going to be sound. If there is no sound, then it is glaring now that your TV is having a defective sound card/IC that's why it is not bring out any sound. (Note that connecting an headset to your TV is optional because not all TV's has a space for headset).
