Hey you should try finding an exact replacement for this ilo hdtv. If you have your model number for your ILO hdtv you can go to a website like http://www.remotecontrolscenter.com and look through their catalog for a new replacement remote control, which is the exact same remote you got in the box with your ILO TV and should work right out of the box, unlike most universal remote controls. If they can't help, there are alot of other major replacement remote companies out there! Hope I helped!

Also you should try calling their number, because there support staff should be able to determine a good replacement remote for your ILO product. If none of those suggestions work, then I would recommend that you just wait a few months, because there is bound to be newer universal/replacement remotes coming out for this model everyday.

I having the same problem. Called the company $80 for a new remote. I only paid $300 for the TV. The company said they have not given out the code for the television. What a CROC! Like the TV, but probably won't buy another.

I have a ILO 27" TV Comcast had no suggestions for programming their remote. I went thru the ENTIRE code book and finally came up with one that worked: Emerson Code #0463 for my COMCAST universal remote.

It sounds like you have the problem many of us have faced and I am not aware of anyone actually getting one of these things fixed. suggest you P)USH real hard, ANY WAY YOU CAN for an exchange. there are two parts to the control circuits in these tvs [ilo] one part deals with the on/off and the other, much more complicated and I think not well engineered, deals with all other aspects of control- including vol, chan changing, SIGNAL SOURCE SELECTION, and on and on. If you can get it fixed- me-thinks it'll be a first. .....pull EVERY trick in the book to get an exchange.

Is the TV losing power to it when you shut it off? This would be the only way that I can see it forgetting channel memory when off.

check to see if your wires are not broken.but let me say to you that dvd does not work with channel 3 or 4 on a tv they work with av connection you can activate that from off your remote.try your dvd on another tv if it works then you will have to take tv to a tech for repairs.if it does not work then your problem is your dvd which will needs to be repair.goodluck.

This must be a Samsung controller inside. Samsung controller have trouble finding if signal is ntsc or pal when tv is turn on before the source. If this is the case, just turn off the tv, start the cablebox and power on the tv again.

It certainly sounds like something which would be repairable. It would also seem from what you have said that the unit is still under warranty and should be repaired for free by the manufacturer. Check with the place you purchased it or the manufacturer. Good luck.
