Hi,

if the Lamp error and Temperature error lights are flashing red this means that there are two separate errors.

• A flashing lamp light means the lamp failed to ignite. It could be a lamp driver problem or lamp failure. Replace the lamp to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, then service the projector.
• A flashing Temperature light signals a fan error. Turn the projector off and allow it to cool down. If the light is still flashing after the projector is turned back on, service the projector.

On on the top of the projector click the down Menu arrow, then go down to advanced options, use the down arrow to highlight the filter time, then reset the filter time. This will reset the counter to zero hours.

What is the problem with the connector.

Sounds like the the monitor detect line is causing your issue. The Hitachi CP-X250 has VGA in & out. Hook the Dell to the VGA out port of the projector.

Clean the filters and check the lamp before it is too late and the lamp bursts or the LCD units burn.
