First connect to a pc transfer the files to pc then burn via pc using any media burning software.

The fault is commonly caused by dirt or grit blocking the mechanism, or due to it having suffered a recent fall. Another common cause is that the camera was in a pocket or bag and the power button accidentally activated and tried to open the lens against resistance. I have had success with this camera photo recovery program... You can read the detail instructions fromhttp://www.asoftech.com/articles/how-to-recover-deleted-photos-from-camera.htmlYou have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

The problem you are experiencing at the moment, is a typical result of a CCD which have blown. A CCD problem would explain the lines on your pictures and the lines on the LCD (since the CCD is used to feed the live image).

If seen on both your pc monitor as well as the camera's LCD then it's likely a CCD issue and it's no wonder that it will be more expensive than buying a new digicam. This is why you need to be exceptionally careful when taking care of your camera since most are uber sensitive to being damaged by the slightest miss-handling.

In order to correct this issue, the repair facility needs to replace the CCD. This is not something you may do on your own. Check this links that could give you additiona details:

It's a faulty ccd. There are several comments on this website regarding this problem. If it's under warrantee you can return it but otherwise you either have to live with it until the whole thing dies (tapping it might help occasionally) or repair will cost around $100.

Press the MENU/OK button to bring up the menu. Press cursor-left to select a left tab. Use cursor-up/down to select SET. Press cursor-right to enter the setup menu. Use cursor-up/down to select "DATE/TIME" and press cursor-right.

(Yes, the filename says "jv150", but it's the manual for the JV100-series cameras).

If they are on the display but not on the photo you need to reseat the cable to the LCD. If that fails you may need a new LCD.
