The print server has a web access if you know the IP address. You may need to have a Username (root) and password to gain access to what you wish to change.

check the driver setting USE PRINTER CONFIGURATION

Try changing communication cable and verify that the driver has correctly set the port used (LPT, COM, etc).

If the backing has black lines between labels, I would use the mark sensor. If the labels are not genuine Zebra, you will need to pay with the sensitivity of the sensor. To do this, you will need to http on to the printer and you will find the calibration options there. If it asks you for a password, this is 1234.

You should make sure you have the label program set for the same size label you are printing and calibrate the printer before you start a roll.

i have the same problem , but my printer is ZEBRA S4M ZPL

my solution is:

in your barcode software: change printer settings: 1 and 2

1 . in media setting : change media type --> Thermal transfer
2. in documents options , configuration --> use printer settings

with zebra printers for the most part, hold down the power switch for about 10 seconds when powering on.

Reset it to factory default.

Put in a new roll of labels. Calibrate the printer. Make sure the program you are using is set for the size label you are using. If it calibrates properly, you should end up with the tear off perforation at the edge of the feed out area.

Ok so the printer is calibrating and printing which means the fault lies with the display, or power to the display pcb. Check the fuse on the mlb, if that is ok then order p/n G79302M (display panel)

You are using a label design software? Label Matrix or Bartender software, are best.

You can use software such as Label Matrix, BarTender, EasyLabel or ZebraDesigner (free on zebra.com).

It is the only software you available for this barcode label printer.

go to printer driver properties.. 1.click printing preferences set it to USE PRINTER CONFIGURATION 2.go to advance click Printing Defaults set it to USE PRINTER CONFIGURATION
you must set this two configuration note: fresh installed driver defaulth to software control

isopropyl alcohol and lint free cloth is best, you can also use this to clean the platen roller.

If you put 2 rolls in, the labels will float around, since there is no way to keep each loose end in place.

The printer is a monochrome and would need to pass through each color of ribbon.
