Zebra Z4Mplus Label Printer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Zebra z4mplus blanck screen
Sounds like the main board needs replacing. Google '77904m PWB" and you will get a place to buy the part. However you mentioned the IP the Z4m does not have an Ethernet option so make sure that it isn't a Z4m+.
I have a Z4M plus and it only prints half of the
Clean the print head. If half has got gummy from labels, it will not be able to print. You will need to use a solvent for the gummy adhesive... possibly Toluol... HOWEVER be very careful to keep that off ANY plastic parts.

Z4m printer error condition paper out labels will just keep feeding through ?
Sounds like a miss-match on the labels you are loading and the labels it is set up for. You'll have to go into the printer properties and check (and adjust as needed) the label stock selected to make sure they match. Next check the setting on the printer its self for the same for label stock selected. Most likely you're trying to use a label stock different then it was using before.
Calibration
I think your printer is set to print on Continuos media. If you use gap labels, you will need to set the printer from the menu on NOT CONTINUOS, then save the setting. In some cases the software or driver is the one who controls this setting. So you will need to change directly in the printer driver. You will find this option on the General tab (click Properties then) and Advanced tab (click on Printing Defaults). There you will have a list with printing parameters like speed, darkness, media type. Adjust as you need to fulfill your request. But first change directly to the printer, accessing the menu from control panel. Also verify if there is no label sticked on the media gap sensor.
Z4Mplus test page
Do you want to print out settings? Do you want to print a printhead check? Make sure supplies are loaded and the printer is ready to print. Turn off the printer, press X button, turn on the printer while pressing de X button and release the button after aprox 5 seconds from power on. This will print out the configuration page. Do the same but with the Pause button, and you will get a printhead quality test. Note that the test with Pause button it will stop automaticly only after some 10 printed labels . You will need to restart the printer after that, or press the cancel button several times.
Z4MPLUS doesn't recognize the MEDIA(LABEL) automatically.
you should recalibt=rate the printer.
Are you sure that your previous label was not longer?
With the autocalibrate function activated the printer should try to detect the correct length. If it doesn't the yoou have
- A problem with the label border
- Preprinted stuff which the printer detects as to fo feed
Unable to print a 4X 6 label

mere pass zebra printer hina but us mian ak problem ya arha hian k us k print out blank arhha hian why?
plz mujhe batey
Half of the labels information is printing
I'm assuming you mean half is showing up as you go across the label. If that is the case and it's a very clear line where the print is cut off, then check the print width setting through the front panel of the printer. Press SETUP and look for setting called MAX WIDTH. It should be set to 104MM (4") which is the width of the print head. It is set to something smaller if the print is being cutoff.
If the print is fading away as you go across then that it is a print head balance issue. Look at the print head pressure dials on top of the print head assembly to make sure they are set evenly.
Hope that helps !

How to restore default configuration
From the user manual:Feed and Pause self testperforming this self test temporarily resets the printer configuration to the factory default values. these values are active only until power is turned off unless you save them permanently in memory. If the factory default values are permanently save, a media calibration procedure must be performed. To perform a Feed and Pause self test, complete these steps:1. Turn off (O) the printer.2. Press and hold FEED and PAUSE while turning the power On (I)3. Hold FEED and PAUSE util the first control panel light turns off.the printer configuration is temporarily reset to the factory default values. No labels print at the end of this test.
