I was replacing our Cyan imaging unit and noticed
It is never a good idea to introduce a magnet around electronic components.
However, I would be surprised if recovering your spring caused this.
The image processing board, which your ethernet connection is part of,
lies too far back and is shielded by a lot of metal chassis.
When you talk about your switch board, I am assuming you are talking
about a router. If you are, and the router light is off as well as the printer
light, that would suggest the problem could just as easily be with the router.
Firstly, I would try a different cable just to be sure.
But regarding the printer, try re-seating the image processing board by
turning off and unplugging the printer, remove the two screws holding the board
in, slide it out and then slide it back in. re-boot and see if that helps.
If not it will likely be a new image processing board or a new router.
Hope this helps.

If you've already changed out the toner cartridge and the problem persists, then it could be several other parts that are either defective, dirty or blocked.
You may want to contact a certified Xerox technician and have them look at the Imaging Unit Agitator Bar and the Low Toner Sensors for Cyan/Magenta. There could also be a faulty toner supply motor.

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing.
