Error 14 scanner

That sensor is located in the developer housing. You can either replace the sensor, or replace the developer housing, which comes with the sensor. Either way, you will need to go into diagnostics and set the value of the new ATC sensor after replacement. (You will need to replace the developer powder if you get a new developer housing)

Smudged ink

Chances are the fuser is not working correctly. How warm is the paper as soon as it leaves the printer? It should be quite warm. The fuser heats the toner and 'fuses' it to the paper. If the fuser does not get hot enough, then the toner which is a powder smudges on the paper. Also not setting the correct paper type for a tray will also cause the toner to smudge as the printer adjusts the temperature based on the type of paper selected.

On power up get the message "Laser Unit Polygon

That means that the Laser Unit is bad. I have fixed that error, by tahking the Laser Ubit's housing apart and removing the toner that accumalayes on the Laser itself. Proceed carefully, wipe tone off with cotton balls. If this does not fix it, it is the Laser Unit needing replacement. Xerox 7700. Paper is jamming at lower tray and

Hello. The Error 11, polygon motor failure is usually caused by the motor controller chip going bad on the mirror motor. We found some of the contorller chips and had them replaced. The refurbished laser units can be seen at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/p-3060-1-116-1110-00-laser-unit.aspx

I have a phaser 7700dn and the error code 44 has

THIS IS THE TEXT FROM THE PHASER 7700 SERVICE MANUAL, HOWEVER, SEE MY COMMENTS AT THE END OF THE QUOTE.

11 06-372 ERROR 11 LASER UNIT POLYGON MOTOR FAILURE
Note
If this failure reoccurs three times successively, an Engine NVRAM
value is set preventing further printer use until the Clear Tech Rep
Fault, Clear <09-380 ~ 09-383> is run.
Remove Rear Cover (RRP 1, on page 7-154).
Disconnect P400 (see figure page 2-46) and P401 (see figure page 2-46) on the Engine Control
Board.
Inspect both connectors to determine they are fully engaged as a unit. Re-engage, if necessary.
Note The two connectors can NOT properly seat into their socket(s)
unless they are both engaged as a unit. Ensure there is no
separation.
Carefully reinsert the plugs into their joint socket and FIRMLY seat them.
Replace the Laser Unit (RRP 38, on page 7-200).
Note Whenever the mounting screws for the Laser Unit have been
loosened, it is necessary to recalibrate the unit by performing the
RegiCon Adjustment Procedure beginning on page 4-124.
If the problem persists, replace the Engine Control Board (RRP 42, on page 7-206).

It has been my experience that 90% of the time the scanner motor (polygon motor) has gone bad. I have repaired many 7700 printers with this error by replacing the laser scanner. The part can be purchased at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/p-3060-1-116-1110-00-laser-unit.aspx

Xerox Phaser 7700 printing Black line across bottom of every page

The line could be caused by contamination on the black laser lens. Try using the cleaning wand located in the front door to clean the lens. You will need to remove the waste toner container to access the wand slots. If that does not solve the problem, the black developer housing may need to be replaced. Refurbished parts at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/p-3064-116-1111-00-black-developer.aspx

Hello, I have a xerox 7700 dx machine. Since

The error is caused by the home sensor for the accumulator belt not finding the home position of the belt. Since the error occured after a move, toner probably contaminated the sensor. Use canned air and blow out the sensor. Manual @: www.lpscomputer.com/ec/Phaser_7700_Service_Manual.pdf
to locate the sensor. The other possibility is that the accumulator belt bit the dust. Parts a vailable at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/p-2993-1-016-1889-00-accumulator-belt-assembly.aspx

Xerox 7700 laser printer paper bin full howeve

The bin full sensor is probably defective or has paper dust in it blocking the light beam. Try blowing out the sensor with canned air. If that doesn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the exit transport assembly. The assembly is available at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/p-3083-1-116-1165-00-paper-transport-exit-assembly-refurb.aspx

Laser unit polygon motor failure

This error usually means that the laser unit on the machine has failed. Just replace the laser unit part number 116-1110-00. I've bought couple of them from www.iteminconline.com. They also give good customer service for free and I think 30 day return if the part is not working. hopefully this helps
