No hot water
Yes there is a small red breaker switch on the left side of the boiler tank. Unplug the unit first then remove the left side cover and just push down on the red breaker switch to reset it.
Steam wand leaks and no pressure.
Ok, remove the right side panel, you will see a red switch connected to the element by a metal coil, make sure power is off and unplugged, then press in red switch, you should hear a click, then open the steam wand and plug machine in and turn on, wait until you see small spurts of steam from wand before closing.
Wont build presure
Unplug power and remove left side cover. Press down on red breaker switch to reset it.
Low extraction flow
if the water pump is working up 9 bars, the coffee group is clean from coffee and scale then your grinding coffee is too fine or more than 8 grams.
The steamer dosen't work at all. When the knob is
First you should remove the end tip of the steam hose and try to clean the steam holes with a pin. The steam should come frealy withou the end tip. If not then you shoul desasemble the steam tap , clean it and put it back together. The problem is only caused by dry milk or milk with chocolate. Even if you manage to have some steam then the problem can be solve by using the steamer warming just water in a glass and leave it all nigh long inside the boiling water in glass this will meld the dirt and will gos away.
Rancilio S24 Pressure adjustment
Rectangular box on the back of the machine, it is easy to reach it from the top, there will a + and - sign on the slotted screw to show which direction to adjust.
The low water level light comes on in my S24, it
There is a low water sensor tube in the water tank. Pull it out and leave it out for 30 seconds, then lower the bell back into the water tank. If the bell gets water inside the it looses the aire pressure to activate the sensor. There should be only air in the bell and hose.
No pressure duild up
I am not sure if you have a plumbed model or the one with the tank, however, I will give advice for both.
If machine is plumbed, make sure water is turned on then remove the top panel on the boiler is a reset switch (it is on the side of some models), its a red push in switch.
If using a tank, fill then press reset and turn machine on.
