is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very,very carefully.
First I would check cold control. Thats where you turn it off, if your temp is not warm. it can
be defective and not shutting off. If your temp is warm proceed with the following.
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if FREEZER CONTROL is turned WARMER WHICH MAKES THE REF COLDER AND VICE-VERSA. SEE?
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
But is probably a common defrost problem The ice build up
is not being melted by the defrost system.The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater,heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath
Make sure back cover is on the fridge. Some take them off and throw them away.
make one out of cardboard if its gone, using the holes of the old one.

Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.

Best advice i can offer here is call the service man as from the sound of this i think you may need to have the gas topped up ,Normally a freezer like this should never need topping up as its a sealed system but ?? a soldered joint could weep with time and you cannot see it with the gas used so a additive is used which shows up under UV light .Now to do this the engineer will have to cut a pipe and add a valve for re-gassing now i dont know what you would pay in the place where you live but i would expect to pay around 80 euros for this plus tax and the gas on top as this gas has shot up in price over the last year by about 4 fold .Another little trick which may work but i doubt it in this case and thats to turn the it upside down overnight with it unplugged of course in case a piece of rust is caught in the valve blocking the venturi in the expansion valve but this is a remote problem but it may be worth a try before you call a service man out .

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

• After changing your water filter you have to reset the light for it to go off as it does not reset right away.

1. Just press and hold the "FIGHT" and "LOCK" buttons until the water filter light flashes. Now the light will be off.
2. Don't forget to run a couple gallons of water through the new filter to remove any carbon out of the incoming water after installing a new water filter. This is not poisonous by any mean but it can leave a bitter taste in your mouth until the carbon wears off.

If your Refrigerator Control is not Responding Check the Following

Power Source
First check your outlet by plugging something like a hair dryer set on high to make sure the outlet is not failing under load. Do not assume it is fine.

Keypad
Some refrigerators will have a keypad. The keypad may be shorted or have a stuck key. To check this press each key one at a time, feel the key retract back. Any stuck keys you will need to replace the keypad.

Control
Usually when the control does not respond or illuminate the control board will need to be replaced. Testing is possible but with the large variety of models this procedure will need to be found in the service manual of your specific model.

The sides and the middle of the cabinet should normally be warm. This is because the high (hot) side of the seal system runs through these sections. If the condenser motor quits, this section will get hotter then normal. Check to see if the fan is running near the compressor. If it is not running or running slow, replace the fan motor with this part.

As it fills with water and freezes so it means that the water inlet valve is fine. First, remove the ice bin, Remove the wires from the auger motor. With the freezer door open and the door switch depressed, push the ice cube release and check for 120VAC between the motor wires. If there is 120VAC then the motor has gone bad. If there is no 120VAC then the control board (module time delay) has to be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

You must first find the shut off for your water supply. In most cases your supply line is connected under your kitchen sink to the cold water supply pipe. It will either have a shut off valve soldered into the pipe or a clamp device over the pipe with a shut off valve. Make sure it is off all the way. Then you can disconnect your line at back of fridge. Some water will be present when disconnecting. Have small container to catch water and some towels ready.

The cold control needs replacing. Thats the knob with the numbers that turn the Ref OFF and ON.
What I do is call my local Appliance Parts Store with my model no. They are extremely helpful .
Get freezer and ref thermometer. Ref is probably too cold.
Freezer should be 0 to 10 degrees. Ref 33 to 35

Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
The icemaker is 110v
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
First I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running

Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.
