NO goals told what OS do you want to run, no clues at all. why?
do not ever flash bios for sure never on any sick PC or you risk bricking the PC
first off moving boot drives from 1 PC to another will fail.\
the real name is here.
a vista PC day one new
A desktop, PC. OLDw
for any drive to boot it needs the OS loaded on the PC hDD fresh
if moved to 2nd PC that wrong OS (set for old PC) fails
in fact long ago I did this test 10 more more times on w7 and it took
10 boots and loading tons of drivers to undo that nasty mess.
this PC
HP Desktop PC Pavilion A6803W(NC890AAR) Athlon X2 4850e (2.50GHz) 3GB DDR2 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
circa 2008/9 and not supported by HP at all now.
Cancio 3TB model#, not told at all what is on this drive.
it can be anything there
- new drives are blank, and never can you boot a blank OS.
- used and dead (hopless) but < runs on 2nd PC.
- USed and good but has w10 on it and will never ever run on any a6800 series PC ever. ( w10 does not load fresh )
we can not guess contents of any hDD on earth.
I CAN IN MY HANDS YES./
AND
"other computer"
NO OTHER COMPUTER TOLD OR OS IT RUNS. IF DOES BOOT THIS DRIVE, NOT TOLD
AS RULE, 7 to to w10 will not run this old PC no matter what magic we do. even fresh loaded fails.
worst of all this PC is AMD and has nasty useless, N_force 430 chip set that no modern OS supports not. AMD ended it long long ago.
nor will 64bit other PC OS run on this 32bit. PC.
the last driver ever is w8, from Nvidia drectly.

yes and no.
yes but super hard work.
no if pain is to be avoided. Linux is best here.
one other trick is put in a fully supported w10 old GPU card. cheap

next time ask
what OS can I run on this 2003 to 2008 desktop with Nforce chip sets
we must fresh load it and with added drivers that MS does not support at all. using this of complex tricks
if w10 fails, hard (installer there is a way to force old 8 drivers to w10)
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/nvidia-geforce-6150se-nforce-430-and-windows-10/00f72dea-df1f-4493-9530-7044b71ba099
if other PC uses secure boot, UEFI it will never boot on any other PC
that is rule #1 UEFI, to not allow that ever, again, (stolen data
foiled)
trick #3
how to force feed the W10 installer to do your bidding
the old XP days OF F6 is here but 1000x better
see words load driver? (the driver may need unppacking first)
https://www.pcdied.com/raw/partition-kill2.JPG
that is it for loaded newer OS to 2008 PC
or how to not expect other PC HDD to boot for 1000 reasons
ive seen them all, tried all tricks and frankly guy i3 UP PC and end allt his folly and have future. a PC with a future runs w10
most older PC will not run w11. (UEFI locked Class 3, H3LL)
end.
