Pics not on memory card

Take your memory card out of camera, attach the camera to the computer with the camera usb cord, transfer photos from the limited camera memory. This will not happen unless the memory card is out of the camera as it's presence bypasses the internal memory when the memory card is there.

When I take a photo with flash-light everything is o.k. but when flash is out then there is to much exposure. How can I manage that?

Hi I suspect that your settings need adjusting and one of the quickest ways to do this may be to use the "Exposure Correction" function on the camera. Instructions for this can be found on page 30 of the manual, which you can download from here: 080223130149453_S500_S600_ENG.pdf">http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200802/20080223130149453_S500_S600_ENG.pdf It is in pdf format so can be saved to your computer and in Adobe Acrobat Reader (later versions) you can use the search function to go to the areas you need. Also you can magnify the pages so that you can read them easily.Hope this helpsCheers

When i try to take a photo it comes up with F 2.8 1/30 on the screen on my Samsung Digimax S500

There's nothing to fix. These numbers aren't showing up on the picture itself, are they? The camera is simply telling you the aperture and shutter speed for the current picture (f/2.8 and 1/30 of a second).

What is an ISO on the camera

The ISO setting controls the sensitivity of the image sensor, analogous to the film speed in analog photography. The more sensitive the sensor, the less light is needed, allowing for faster shutter speed and/or smaller aperture. The downside is that by making the sensor more sensitive, it's more susceptible to "noise," making the picture look "grainier," just like with faster film.

Always first check the battery. Switch off the camera, remove the battery and charge the battery. Then try again. Sometimes, even when the charger indicates the battery is charged, it can be the battery does not have enough power. If the camera does not work, even after charging the battery, contact the service centre closest to you.
