U know basic electronic's,have tools and know how to do soldering?Take the tv aparts,the board where the power a/c coard plug into it,that the power supply board.Searches the power supply board,it have dying leakages capacitors,it alway bulges up on it tops,or puff on it tops,replaced these dying capacitors.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.The tv will power up normal again and work.

Sounds like it is a power supply issue...should not be as much as board to repair

reprogram all the chanels, go to set up then auto program,after you finish sort the desired channels,or you can store it manually

You TV need some capacitors changed on the power supply. I have a tutorial on this repair published in my Tips & Tricks. You can save about $170 by doing this yourself, it's fairly simple if you can use a screw driver and a soldering iron. I hope this was helpful.

the problem could be from the colour setting of the television on the AV .
Go to menu on the remote to change the colour function from NTSC to AUTO.

bad capacitor on power supply

IF YOUR IMAGE IS ALL WHITE YOUR LOGIC BOARD IS DEFECT BUT IM SAD TO SAY DO NOT REPLACE THE LOGIC IT WILL ONLY TEMPORARLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM THE PANEL IS OVERLOADING THE LOGIC BOARD PANEL IS BAD

The Panel is bad. It is shorting out the power supply and inverters/ballast.

This is one of many protection circuits built in to prevent damage. If the cooling fan fails, the set will shutdown to prevent overheating or fire. There should be venting on the bottom of the set, try using either a vacuum or canned air to move air into/from those vents. It is possible that dust has accumulated and is blocking the airflow sensor. You may need to remove the back and clean the fan(s) or replace them.

Check function buttons. One may be stuck. Disconnect the function switches from the switch board. If you can change inputs with the remote then replace switch board or switches. if not then replace the main board.

Your TV has some bad capacitors on the power supply. You can fix it yourself if you can use a soldering iron and a screw driver. Please see my Tips & Tricks, you will find a tutorial to fix this TV yourself and save $170. I hope this was helpful and best wishes on your repair.

hello, i think you have a power supply problem, more likely you have some bad capacitors. if you don't have any repair skills i would recommend that you call the repairman, this should not be too expensive good luck

Reconnect the flat cables to the t con board at the top. if that does not fix then replace the main board. if still bad replace the LCD panel.

Replace the main board.

Check power supply for swollen capacitors and replace them. Check voltages on power board if missing replace power board. if ok the disconnect the flat cables to the tcon board at the top. There will be no picture but if it powers on then replace the lcd panel .Likely cheaper to replace the tv if it's out of warranty.

The power supply board is beginning to fail and you will need to have it repaired or replaced. Samsung is covering the cost of repair on some models for this problem. You can call 1-800-samsung to find out if yours will be covered.

You can change the setting on your Samsung Television by selecting “Menu” then “Settings” and arrow down to “Melody”. There are four options; Off, Low, Medium, High.

To fix it would require replacing the LCD panel... the biggest ticket item of the whole TV.
