My samsung LCD LNS4692D has
0ne of 3 has failed:
(in order of probability):
1. Backlight inverter
2. Power Supply
3. Backlight
More specifically on #1 and #2 - capacitors either bulging, leaking, or exploded.
Please seek the expertise of an experienced TV repair technician - as
they contain potentially lethal voltages that must be properly
discharged before work can begin.
Thanks!

WhenI turn on my Samsung
You likely have a power supply problem. If you can take the back off of the set and trace the AC cord to the power supply look for bulged capacitors on the board. Capacitors are cylinder shaped components standing upright and the bad one will have a bulge or domed at their top instead of flat. If you see any this way you could replace them by soldering in some with equal value of microfarads and voltage or match the part number on ebay (Model search on ebay) and replace the whole module if you can't solder. The module unscrews and unplugs.

This problems very common on a LCD tv.It the tv power supply board, have bad dying capactors, these capacitors are alway bulges or puffing up on it tops. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.U have all the tools, know basic electronic and can do basic soldering?Just check the power supply board, for those dying capacitors that bulges or puffing up on it tops.Replaced these dying capacitors on the tv power supply board,ur tv will power up normal again and have no more clicking sounds and will not take anymore 2 mins or more to turn it on.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

When turning on the power. the TV clicks for about
The TV is shunting as the there is low build up of the required voltage and so waits till the threshold is reached. It can be weakness of the filter capacitors in the +B or the drive sections as the feedback to the CPU is not stabilized and so it shunts.
You must disconnect the mains power and discharge off all potential, then check the main board, the driver sections for poor solder joints, faulty capacitors or loose joints.

I have a Samsung 46"
Usually in sales, when we hear of this problem my customers tell me that they're told it's not worth fixing.
With the price of newer, better TVs reaching a point where they are considered "disposable," you're going to be seeing a lot of people throwing out their flat panel TVs instead of getting them fixed.
Your best bet is to watch the sales and begin shopping for a new TV. It is the end of the model year right now and the C models are going clearance while waiting for Samsung D models to come out in a few short weeks.

Samsung LN-S4692D with no picture no
Hi,
T-Con board provides video signal to lcd panel (basically t-con board is part of lcd panel) and has nothing to do with sound in tv.
Please check power supply board is providing required volts to main board and if volt supplies are correct then main board could be defective because it has video and audio processors.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

BLUE SCREEN ,NO PICTURE,NOT EVEN MENU
It sounds like your television's main board needs to be replaced.
A factory reset from within the television's service menu may be effective if there is a factory reset setting however it is not something meant to do at home and irreversible damage can be done like everything could be erased. Proceed with something like this at your own risk.
