I have to install this printer in xp professional o.s.
than what can i do now

There's a button on the top called "toner saver". when you press this is prints light to save toner. Press this once to turn "toner saver" off and print normally..

Make sure tape is off new print cartdige. Right click printer in control panel and select print test page.

either replace toner cartridge or in case of refilling You need to raplace chip on cartridge

unplug it and plug it again.
make sure there's no jammed paper. make sure there aren't any other error messages. check to see if the paper is installed properly, etc.
make sure it is properly installed. check out if the printer options in control panel are set right. etc.
you should be able to troubleshoot and find the problem.

the red light (online error) means that the printer is off line. How do you fix it? you press the "ok" or "reset" button and it puts it back on line and ready to print.

it could be the coagulation of ink in between the cartridgebetter dip it in mild hot water for some times and replace it wiping the water. it would do the trick and solve your problem . it has been practicallytested.

check the cable between printer and computer may be the cable is corrupted

disconnect it via the menu that appears on the desktop by clicking delete or if it fails to detect remove the usb cable hen it would ask to plug it in to complete the process or to delete the document selected to print
