How to unlock the autoadjustment
Hi
If you use any kind of LCD monitors for example Samsung or LG or BenQ, you'll see each and every monitor has their auto adjustment of the monitor's resolution. Many people really find it difficult to adjust when it gets locked.
First find you auto button of your monitor
(It should be beside the power button)
Press and hold the button until the box disappears..
Now just press the auto button. It should have unlocked by now.
THANKS....
With Regards......

My samsung monitor SN BH6800530M00 WHEN SWITCHED
Look for bad DC filter caps with leaking/bulging top/seals frist.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

How do you open it
Remove all the mounting screws, stand first, then using thin flat blade screw driver to separate the front from the back starting at the bottom edge and work your way around, be careful on the cable attached to the front bezel. Also look at YOUTUBE on how to open most LCD monitor cases.
Here are the service manuals:

After changing old model monitor for Samsung
First, try it on another PC first.
Second, the video resolution of your PC should be set to 1280 x 1024 @60Hertz.
Unless it has problem inside, then you will need to open it up.

Hi
I own a Samsung 740
This usually happens when the video RAM on the videocard is faulty. The videocard may have also additional problems.
Replace the videocard.

The lcd turned black, even though the power button is on
First, connect this monitor to another computer, if you still do not get a Windows image on the Samsung LCD monitor then it is faulty. The fault could be a faulty inverter board that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or the fault could be a faulty CCFL lamp.
Parts for this monitor could be avaiable from LCD Parts, theie WEB site is :-

My system monitor gets blur
maybe it is getting too hot? check to make sure that it has air flow around the monitor and that the vent holes are not blocked by curtains, desk, anything that could cause it not to get any cool air to the back of it.
