Needs PCU black soon?
soon you are going to be out of black ink and you will need to replace the cartridge
its just a warning that you are low on ink
The black imager puts dots and lines on the paper.
remove the fuser unit and behind the unit there is a guide plate with little star wheels to guide the paper into the fuser those wheels are either dirty or damaged if damaged you will need to have them replaced
also you may want to clean the K laser assy there is a long green handled tool in the front door that fits in slots above the drums run it through a couple of times to clean the laser **** glass and you should be good.
clean the star wheels with alcohol and try not to bend them as they can cause jamming issues once they are bent.
good luck

My Ricoh Afficio 2232C doesn't print and it gives me this message
A 440-1 is a black drum motor lock. The waste toner in the black pcu is backed up, more then likley. It is not easy to fix. You could replace the black pcu but it will happen again. The usual problem is oil in the main waste toner system. It clumps up the toner and clogs the part where all the waste toner comes together for entry into the waste toner bottle.

It sounds like the transfer belt needs to be replaced. They get scratched up and milky looking and the sensors can't see the color reg marks good enough. It could be other things also but the transfer is a good place to start.
What causes the toner to
The developers almost never streak. I would be looking at your PCUs. Developers have a tendency to leave voids and dust the paper. PCUs tend to streak as the cleaning blade and charge roller wears out.

Hi,
I have Ricoh Aficio MP c2800, Machine say toner undetectable all four when i check system status and yellow, cyan is not show up on copies at all
If your Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 is showing "toner undetectable" messages for all four toner cartridges and the yellow and cyan colors are not showing up in copies, there may be several potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the problem:
- Check Toner Cartridges: Ensure that all four toner cartridges are correctly installed and securely seated in their respective slots. Make sure there are no protective seals or tapes left on the cartridges.
- Shake Toner Cartridges: Sometimes, toner inside the cartridges can settle or clump, leading to detection issues. Gently shake each toner cartridge side to side to redistribute the toner evenly.
- Replace Toner Cartridges: If the toner cartridges are old, empty, or expired, replace them with new, genuine Ricoh toner cartridges.
- Clean Contacts: Dust or debris on the toner cartridge contacts can interfere with communication. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the electrical contacts on both the toner cartridges and inside the printer.
- Check Developer Unit: The developer unit in the printer plays a crucial role in toner development and transfer. Ensure that the developer unit is clean and free from any obstructions.
- Perform a Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Ricoh MP C2800 printer. Updating the firmware might address known issues and improve printer performance.
- Reset the Printer: Power off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Power the printer on to see if the issue resolves.
- Check Toner Detection Sensors: The printer uses sensors to detect the presence of toner cartridges. Verify that these sensors are functioning correctly and not blocked by any debris.
- Perform a Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer. However, be aware that this will reset all settings to their defaults, and any custom configurations will be lost
