I would have to see the sound system you are hooking into. The way to get audio is to hook it direct from your cable/satellite box to the stereo. There is no need to go to the TV for audio.

U can chk the fuses in the back but it is poss u have shorted it out and it will need to go in to a TV service company. Mine was about us $ 150 to fix. I touched the satelite wire against the back grill of the tv briefly but this was enough. Dont forget to chk that u r getting power off the power switch it is plugged into. Also if it is plugged into something else chk that this is providing power out as it has fuses too. cheers.

It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television.
