How to print doubled sided
you can't unless that printer has that capability you have to print one side flip it over and print on the other side. do a test run to make sure you put the first side in right. some printers will have a test for printing both sides.

Try this:

- Turn on the printer.
- Click Menu, and then Scan, Copy and Scan again. All - entered the service mode.
- Select Counter
- Click Copy - everything. Waste dropped to zero.
- Turn off the printer POWER button.

Printer dose not recognize one or both cartridges
Some printers do not accept reused cartridges if they are refilled. You may need to buy "new" (not refurbished and refilled) cartridges made by the manufacturer. Be sure the heads are clean if the cartridges are new. I would exchange them if you recently purchased them.
My canon mp160 does not recognize the cartridges
Hi there it is ink error.
You can try to reset the cartages this may do it Please call back let us know if it worked for you, PLEASE.
But some time when you get the chance do clean the waste tank out.
- Start with printer off
- Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click "Power" button. Green led should be on
- While holding the Power button, release the Resume Button.
- Without releasing the Power Button, click "Resume" button for two times and release Both Buttons.
- Click "Resume" for four times then soon click "Power" button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).
- Turn off the printer and turn on again

Error 5400
the 5400 error is telling you there was excessive temperature in the
printhead, and this error code will stop all printing attempts.
Unplug
the power from the printer and leave it off for a hour and then check
the pins inside the carriage and clean them and clean the contacts on
the back of the head.
