you need a new thermal fuse ... its at the back of the dryer with to blue wires going to the fuse ... the fuse is white

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

disconnect vent tube and run dryer. the vent is restricted

this a common problem when the start winding or the bearings are going in the motor and the motor cannot get to the proper speed to activate the switch if there is no thumping or odd noises after it is running you probably need a new motor

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Duct tape
* Putty knife
* Phillips-head screwdriver

1 Unplug the LG dryer power cord from the dryer outlet. Pull the dryer out two feet from the back wall so that there is room to raise the top panel.
2. Place duct tape over the edges of a putty knife blade. This protects the finish of your dryer while using the putty knife. Insert the putty knife blade in between the front and top panels, three inches from the right corner. Feel for the spring clip with the blade, and lift up on the right corner as you slide the blade over the spring clip. Repeat the process three inches from the left corner. Lift the front of the top panel straight back toward the rear wall.
3. Open the dryer door and remove the two screws on the lower lip of the dryer door opening with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
4. Remove the two screws on the top edge of the dryer front panel with the Phillips-head screwdriver. Pull the front panel away from the dryer enough that you can access the door switch wiring harness on the left side of the cabinet by the door.
5. Grasp the white wiring harness connecting to the door switch on the inside of the front panel with your fingers. Squeeze the locking tabs together and pull the harness away from the door switch. Pull the front panel off the dryer.

Check and make sure the door button has not broken and fell out. If you see the button sticking out mash it several time hold it in then mash the button. If it is electronic it's probally in the board.

have you check the fan blades?, is the fan loose at the motor shaft?, check inside the pipe of the blower housing for blockage. did you replace the thermal fuse alone or as a kit?, are ALL the seals in place including the blower seal?. after checking all that try to run dryer without the vent pipe attached and see if it hold.

Is blade loose or broken off? Either way, you must remove front panel (door panel) to expose the front drum end retainer brackets, which you must unscrew and remove to get at screws to tighten or replace missing paddle blade. your heating element went bad in it.

The pulley for the PYE2300AY was used on hundreds of different model dryers. If you go to www.appliancehelponline and enter your model# the parts will come up click on the part and it will give a partial list of other models it fits. I would order it and try it. Most likely will fit if not return it. Or you could bring it to your local appliance parts store and see if they can match it up.

When you pull the duct off and turn the dryer on, do you feel air coming from the back of the dryer?? If you do, that means the blower is working. The most common failure on electric dryers that are no heat is a heater coil or element. These are usually pretty easy to replace. Please make sure before you do any work to the inside of your dryer you unplug it! Before you attempt to diagnose the heater coil, make sure the vent line inside the dryer and at the blower is clear of all debris. This could be the problem. There are instructions on this website to take a dryer apart. There are also instruction to diagnose and replace the heater coil.
