My canon sd600 says Memory card error?? any
I'm afraid that's exactly what it could be. A bad card which can't be formatted. Occasionally digital warnings can get it right, Occasionally.
Memory cards don't last forever and depending on it's use and treatment they can die sometimes somewhat prematurely. Just removing the card whilst it''s being accessed by the camera can ruin a card for good. Just check that the record inhibit tab isn't in place on the card. It's a little tab which when closed will stop the pictures stored on it from being accidently erased. Although usually the camera will say protect and not error.
I'd be inclined to try formatting the card in another camera if you can borrow one for a few minutes. Whatever you do, don't try formatting it in your computer. Or borrow a known good card and try it. If it works it would appear your card is dead.

How to fix dc/dc converter in canon g9
As far as fixing it, it depends what is wrong with it. If it's just a fuse, it's commonly the R Fuse but they are not simple to replace. Many people actually bridge the fuse when trying to replace it without even realizing it. It's often just better to buy the board if that's all you need. You can get the dc dc power board at www.CamerasAndParts.com and if you don't want to repair it, they are who we recommend for service. They are not expensive at all, and they just deal with the Canons. They are fantastic for service on these cameras. They also do some internal corrections and plenty of service on the camera too. It runs $89 for a no power problem with the service for the camera and parts and labor included, try them if you need to order the part of have it fixed. They are the ones for help with these Powershots.

The final suggestion is the one that worked for me. I rely heavily on my camera, so I was very nervous that something would go wrong.
