Cloth not dry

Check for a build up of lint in the exhaust duct, an excessive build up will block air flow. Also 220VAC electric dryers use different legs of the electrical supply. (two 110VAC legs tied via a common neutral make 220 VAC) One 110VAC leg runs the motor and controls while the other supplies power to the heater. It is possible that one side of the 220VAC has a blown fuse and is not supplying power to the heater element. Other possibilities: Blown out heater - requires replacement There is a safety switch attached to the shaft of the motor. THis switch relys on centrifical force to close and is intened to kill the power to the heater if the motor and its attached blower stop turning. If the motor is not turning fast enough of the switch is worn then it is possible that power to the heater circuit is not being completed. It doesn't take must of a speed reduction to cause a problem. Lint build up on the drum bearings can cause enough drag to slow the drum slightly. Combined with a worn/dirty switch and the switch fails to operate. Finally there is a blower attached to the motor shaft. The blower is made of plastic and somtimes the blower comes loose on the shaft. Usually you hear a rattling sound or sounds after the dryer drum stops as the loose spinning blower spins to a stop. ( A tight blower stops with the dryer drum) A loose blower doesn't move enough air and causes your dryer to run longer.you can find about uniforms: https://www.mysocceruniform.com/customsocceruniforms.html

Silly question - where do you add the detergent?

Often you will find the detergent dispenser very close to the dispenser for the softener. Mine is a separate container within the same "pullout" drawer that holds fabric softener. If you still are not sure, then find the model number of your washer and google it with the term, "user manual". Most are available online as a PDF

Loud noise on spin cycle only clothes dry good

Sounds like your bearings and seal need replaced... See Neptune Bearing for information on the Maytag Neptune bearing and 12002022 seal kit. You can also rent a special tool kit that includes the bearings, 12002022 seal kit, bearing spacer, step by step DVD, etc.

I would not run neptune with bad bearings too prevent more damage to the Neptune spinner support, Motor drive system...

I hope this helps you...

I would be concerned about your door latch wax motor ( part # 12002535) though... See Neptune Help for more information about replacing the faulty wax motor with brown colored actuator tip before it damages your machine control board.
When the wax motor shorts out it will blow the Q6 triac and then the R11 resistor will burn and your door probably won't lock anymore as indicated by the door locked light not coming on. The next thing you will notice is that your clothes will be soaking wet after the wash cycle because the spin cycle will not work if the door does not lock...

Your machine control board is located above the dryer on the right side.

Every Maytag Neptune front loader with a timer knob (non digital) has a wax motor and all of them shipped with faulty one except the later 2000 series stacker models. You should proactively replace the wax motor with the new design (with black tip) to prevent the Q6 R11 failure on the control board. If you're too late you can try the STAGE 1 repair kit at the same site above.

To inspect your door latch wax motor on the stackers you:

  • Unplug machine
  • Remove the (2) screws holding center panel and remove panel
  • Remove the (1) center screw holding the top panel located inside compartment above washer
  • Remove the top panel to expose the door latch assembly

    I hope this helps you.

Hello, can you determine if your machine shutsdown in the rinse cycles? If it does then the cause is probably the water inlet screens are clogged with debris. See Neptune Help FAQ #8 for more help.

You most likely have a bad (lock wax motor) that can also cause the main control board to go bad. the lock motor sits above the washer door behind the panel. the control board sits inside the dryer above the drum to the right. go here to look up your parts

Maytag Neptune MLE2000AYW won't spin, motor wont

Three places I check for appliance parts, besides the local appliance repair store, are:

RepairClinic: http://www.repairclinic.com/Circuit-Board-Or-Timer-Parts?s=t-MLE2000AYW-%3d%3dc13

AppliancePartsPro: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=47166

ApplianceZone: http://www.appliancezone.com/SearchProducts.aspx?id=MLE2000AYW&ctl00%24MainContent%24btnSearch=GO%21

It sounds like you have gone through the tests in the Service Book, and usually when the motor won't spin it is the control board, the motor, or the wiring harness. If you are getting no power from the leads on the control board to the motor, I would replace the control board. If you had or have any codes that come up on the machine, what are they? I have had to replace many motor control boards, and everytime it gets the machine going again. Only a few times did I actually have to replace the motor. It sounds like your motor is fine though. The most common cause of failure in these motor control boards is electrical surge. Many control boards now have built in surge protection to help prevent failures. Hi, you are having a problem with the washing machine lid switch....
If the lid switch is defective, your washer won't start, spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.
