Most likely the bearing / cam kit that releases brake is worn and not doing its job.

The powder is belt wear. Not to worry though, they last a long time. There is always some wear on all belts as they slide into the channel on the pulley.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

Most don't have a front panel. Just top panel and rear panel.
Did you raise the top panel?
There are clips there that you have to find with a flat knife type tool.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.There is a clip about 4 inches in from each corner between the top and front panel. You need to push in with a putty knife and lift on the top, When top is open there are two screws one on each side holding the front on remove them and lift front off.

Hello, Does it sound like its spinning in regular and just not spinning? If So You may just need to replace the belt. Also this unit the motor pulley would melt and break. Lean the unit back and you can see the belt and pulley. Hope this helps and please dont forget to rate me. Thank You...

where in the bottom? could be a simple tub to pump hose or is it coming from the tub seal around the transmission.

the hot water inlet valve is shot replace it

most likely a bad water pump/remove belt and turn pump by hand , you'll be able to tell if its the pump by the way it turns,should turn smoothly in both directions
