Hello,
The not completly filling and squeeling makes me want to look at the screen on the water valve that the hoses attach to on the rear of the machine for blockage preventing water flow,to me the squeeling is the solonoids on the water valve calling for water yet no water coming in. IF you manually fill the washer using buckets of water/a hose what will happen? perhaps try that!!
Also if you have the "aquaflow flood stop" hoses the internal stopper in the hose is bad, replace hoses using standard hoses
Good luck,i hope this helps you to fix your washer,

Washer makes loud noise on spin cycle
Hi, it
sounds like the bearings are going bad. Try spinning the drum with your
hand while it is empty. It should spin nice and smooth. If the rotation
feels a little rough and noisy, you might have a problem. You can
double check by taking the drive belt off and try shaking the pulley.
If there is "play" when shaking the pulley, the bearings are most
likely toast. The inner stainless drum rides on two bearings which sit
in the rear of the outer plastic drum. The whole plastic drum and
bearings come as one piece and go for $150. It would cost about the
price of a new machine to have someone come out and repair it for you.
It sounds like Kenmore has had a bearing problem which is pretty ridiculous considering how much these things cost. Sears said, "those
tend to go in a few years", which is criminal especially since the warranty is usually conveniently expired by the time this problem
happens. If you are handy, have a spare day, and can remember how to
put a washing machine back together, go for it. I did it and it was not
a fun time. There is a lot of sharp metal edges in the machine so wear
gloves.
Model MAV9501EWW not spinning but it is pumping
Hello &
Welcome to FixYa
When the
washer is not spinning however, pump out the water then the problem is with the
lid switch that is bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have
any other questions.

Hi.
Test and eventually replace the inlet valve.
The inlet valve is tested reading impedance, if it is broken, then it usually read infinity (circuit open). Reaing is done disconnecting valve and pointing multimeter probes at valve solenoid contacts (the cold ones in your case).
A definitive test on inlet valve is done reading volts while cycling and observing if valve is opening. For safety reasons is better if the user performs only tests that can be done with power off.
The switching contacts and inlets is also a test even if basic, I think that the valve is gone.
Here part:

VALVE-INLETValve is part nr.2 in diagram below. Click on the picture to enlarge.

Does not spin
door switch need to be replace or bypass :) dont slam the door next time ..
The washer grinds while washing.
check the pulley on the pump they have a common thing of the pump pulley comming apart and grinding if not fixed it will melt the motor pulley and belt
There is no cold water only hot and the machine
Not enough information, but I'm assuming you have 2 inlet water valves. 1 hot water and 2 cold water. Possibly you connected the hot water to the hot water valve. It must go to the cold water valve instead. Not good to run the washing machine like that as it will bring other problems into play. (colours running, plastic distorting etc.). That's if it is very hot water.
Loud spin cycle - leaks water
No boot on a top loader, the tub seal and bearing are gone, water leaked from the tub seal, rusted the bearing and quite possibly the milk stool and transmission. Check your warranty, the transmission may have a 5 year limited warranty, usually it will include the tub seal and bearing with the kit.
How to get the spin cycle to work?
This posting is so old you likely have resolved or given up by now. The noise is likly a dry bearing between the inner and outer tubs.
I had this same problem and have resolved it by replacing the bearing and the seals on both sides of the bearing.
Unless you have esperience at taking things apart and putting them back again and are not afraid then you might regret doing so. If confident go ahead. You might be able to replace the bearing (after packing it good with High Temp Grease). Caution: If the shaft the bearing rotates on has been dry long enough to score up the shaft pretty bad you will have to replace the transmission (in which case it is not worth fixing). Good luck!

Spins only with manually start /spin sounds like jet engine
Throw this machine out; it is a piece of junk. Transmission shaft is probably scored up so new bearings will do you no good. I cannot see your repyl due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks
No water
Let's start here:
Have you checked the incoming hoses? You can unscrew them and check the little filters for sand and dirt, etc. And make sure they are not twisted or squished and the water is turned all the way on. Before you disconnect the hoses have towels handy and turn the washer off, the water off and unplug the machine. Be sure to turn the water back on!
I hope the answer is this simple. Let me know.
Not working
Disconnect water hoses from machine. Inspect the filter screen on the cold and hot water connection. DO NOT REMOVE SCREEN. If full of debris, use a spray bottle with a hard spray to remove debris. If unable to remove debris or water flow is still slow, replace valve.
If you need further assistance, let me know
