Had exactly the same issue - working fine until ink cartridge changed (kodak for kodak - not a copy). Then can only get 'print head error message'. Multiple attempts to remove and re-install, power on/off etc. but can't shift the error message. New print head more expensive than a new printer!

I replaced black ink cartridge and now no matter how many times I clean/calibrate only the black ink messes up. I tried other brand new cartridges and same thing. Even a calibrate shows missed lines or faded lines

This Kodak is not an Airprint enabled printer, but in checking I see this is at least Wifi. There are apps in the App Store you can purchase such as Printopia or Print Central which for about $9 will permit you to print from your iPhone.Or i see here from Kodaks web.. they recommend google cloud and some of there own software, so you can do it but not via some of the airprint functions that apple has on your Iphone. It multi-tasks as much as you do, letting you print wirelessly, copy, scan, and fax-even double-sided. No matter where business happens, being Google Cloud Print and KODAK Email Print ready means you can send emails and attachments back to your office from any mobile device-your smartphone, computer, or tablet, so your documents are waiting when you walk in the door.

You are probably out of ink in one or more cartridges. You need to do a diagnostic print and take the print to the ink supply vendor to get the correct replacements.
