The picture on my panasonic

First try reseating both ends of the LVDS cable.

By "reseating" that basically means unplugging, and re-plugging them in their slots right?

fixed a few monitors similar to that by replacing a few bad caps. Look for swollen caps. Sometimes the tops of them will have a bulge or a split. It might be better to just replace them all.

Look on the Power supply board for Bad Capacitors they will be vented or puffed up on Top.
This board will be on the Far Left hand side, pull it out and look for bad Caps.

You need to know how to Solder with an solder Iron, unsolder bad caps and replace with new .

Make sure you put them back in the exact same way the came out, they will be marked positive side and Negative - Side. If they are 1,000uf 16v make sure the cap is 1,000uf. If you want to just replace the board, here are some company's for Parts Encompass Parts Distribution 1-800-638-3328 Visit their Website they will list Parts /Prices they also have Free Service Manual that you can printed out.Parts 1-800-627-4368 PTS 1-800-844-7871 this company you can ship your boards to and have them repaired. Let me know if you need any more help.

I have a panasonic TH50PX60U.

The tuner (the part on the tv that selects the channels and extract the signal from them) or the image processor is defective. Since you can see dvd's the first option is way more plausible.
The tuner is a relatively cheap part ($75) but it's very complicated to install and remove so the labor will be very expensive($200). If you're unlucky you will have to replace y the entire mainboard for a cost of about $550.

I have a Panasonic Plasma that the wife used

Go to walmart and the sale a 3 wheel 5 chalk polishing kit. Attach a wheel to a drill and use the white chalk to buff the screen. it works on glass, aluminum, plastic, and pretty much anything smooth or pourus and only cost about 10 bucks.

GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!

The TV will not come

Ten blinks means one of the following:

10 blinks:
Sub 5v SOS / Main 3v SOS DG Board / DTV 9v SOS / Tuner Power SOS: faulty digital board or faulty power board /Faulty digital board detecting wrong voltage to tuner board or faulty power board.

You can try leaving the TV unplugged from power for one hour or so, this will clear the error if it was a false alarm.

If that does not fix the problem, then the TV must be tested and repaired.

If you need repair service you can contact the number listed on the owner manual.

I have a service manual,

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. A plasma TV is a very hard working device. It is working harder than any TV that has been built before, and as a result it produces a lot of heat. 75% of technical problems in plasma TV's are caused by overheating problems. X, Y sustain, buffer boards controls picture, fires the gas, and many others functions. When either of these boards goes bad common problems include negative image, no image, vertical or horizontal stripes on picture, turns on and than turns off, and many more. You’ll need to open the back off the TV and check for any swollen/bulged/leaky capacitors on these boards and replace whichever has gone bad. All this is only recommended if you have electrical expertise & know how to solder/re-solder components as these units contain high voltages even when switched off.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Samsung 50 in. HPS5033X/XAA colored lines

How wide are the lines. Do they change width? Where on the screen are they located?Connections on the c boards at the bottom to the panel flex cables or bad c board itself can cause 2 inch wide verticle bar. Before touching these connectors be sure power supply is disconnected from the 2 sustain boards on the sides. If you don't there will be an arc that will destroy the flex cable thus you will have to replace the panel. If C boards or connections don't fix it the replace the plasma panel. If the lines are thin lines then panel is likely bad. Contact Panasonic even if out of warr they may help.
