Aopen F2705 LCD MOnitor driver

NO SUCH THING, AT ALL. AND AOPEN HAS ZERO SUPPORT. the pc not told, at all and its OS not told at all. uses its GPU chip /card and its correct driver and this real; driver (AMD or Nvidia) first scans he video port pins called ddc or edid and does PnP plug and play scan and sees the monitors spec, there and set the GPU card to resolution call native resolution or max, for you screen and you can change that any time you want under MAX. NO PC told why no OS told why. is the pc 20 years old and runs XP, IDK i do not know and matters huge. the monitor is square and VGA only max RESO is 1280 x 1024 do not go above that or monitor goes dead. 2006 made, a relic and most are dead now CCFL dead for sure. it has zero value, with nasty old CCFL there ,it can die in 1hour. or is now, and you want a driver that does not exist/.

Monitor will not come on

The problem is in the power supply board, one or two capacitors become open and sometimes leave a slight puff on the top killing power to the monitor.

No signal

A number of things can cause "No Signal" on a monitor

1) Check the cable between the monitor and PC is properly connected
2) If the PC has more than one display port try changing the display port the monitor is plugged into
3) Try an alternative cable between the monitor and the PC
4) Check that the correct input is selected on the monitor

Thsi monitor stays on for a few minutes then goes

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Will my monitor work with the new windows 7

Yes your monitor will work with windows 7 it has a generic driver for monitors installed into the system.

If your monitor has a driver cd for it, for more cababilities found on the monitor you may have to visit there web site for updates. Other than that your monitor should work fine with no problems.

Screen says out of range

I would say that the computer is trying to use a display resolution that the monitor is incapable of displaying. You may have to lower the resolution from the PC before you get a picture. Make sure you install the correct drivers for the monitor onto the new computer and use a different monitor to adjust the display resolution to a level that the monitor is capable of displaying.

Monitor goes black after power on.

May i know, is it a crt monitor or lcd monitor? If it is a crt monitor, then you can try to check the dry joint on te pcb board especially primary and secondary power supply. After that check the FBT with blue ring tester & cap meter to check their HV cap value.

If it is a LCD Monitor, please check on inverter board and the ccfl lamp too. Please check all the electrolytic cap on lcd monitor pcb board for low esr ohm with blue esr meter. Below is some usefull link for repair lcd monitor and crt monitor:

1) www.FastRepairGuide.com
2) www.fastrepairguide.com/recommend/lcd-monitor-repair/

Hope this help.
