The problem of image fading in some lines on a Kyocera3050 printer could be caused by several factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps that can be taken to resolve the issue:
Check the toner level: Make sure that the toner cartridge is properly installed and that there is enough toner in it. Low toner levels can cause image fading or streaking.
Clean the printer: Clean the drum unit, the corona wire, and the primary charge roller. Dust and debris can accumulate on these parts, which can cause image fading.
Check the drum unit: Make sure that the drum unit is properly installed and that there are no signs of damage or wear. If the drum unit is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
Check the corona wire: Make sure that the corona wire is clean and free of debris. If the corona wire is dirty, it can cause image fading. Clean the corona wire with a lint-free cloth or a foam swab.
Check the primary charge roller: Make sure that the primary charge roller is clean and free of debris. If the primary charge roller is dirty, it can cause image fading. Clean the primary charge roller with a lint-free cloth or a foam swab.
Check the fuser: Make sure that the fuser is properly installed and that there are no signs of damage or wear. If the fuser is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
If after trying the above steps, the problem persists, it's recommended to contact the manufacturer for further assistance or to contact a professional technician for repair.
Check the cover switch: Make sure that the cover switch is securely in place and that it's not loose or damaged.
Clean the cover switch: Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the cover switch. Make sure to remove any dust or debris that may have accumulated on the switch.
Check the control board: Make sure that the control board is securely connected and that it's not loose or damaged.
Update the firmware: Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware update. Firmware updates may include bug fixes or improvements that can resolve unexpected shutdown issues.
Check for any jammed paper: Make sure that there's no paper jammed inside the printer. If you find any jammed paper, remove it carefully.
There is a cleaner system that is supposed to pick up leaking toner from the cartridge. Try cleaning the toner contacts on the machine and also on the toner cartridge itself. Use metal polish and then an alcohol swab. If that doesn't work, call for service. I had similar on a commercial machine and it needed a part.

Hi
if your printer has a nozzle head, please clean that first. You should also check that you ink cartridges are not third party. If so, please switch to kyocera brand.
Thank you.
Hi,
please restart both your printer and the source that you're printing from (ie computer) before trying to print again. Also, please attempt to use another flash drive to print to the printer as well. If possible, you can update the firmware of your printer to make sure that everything is updated on the machine.
Thank you.
That code indicates a problem with the (K) developing unit, which is the black color developing unit. Try removing and reinserting the black developing unit. If that doesn't work, probably need to replace the developing unit. Hope that helps.
