Since you want to install the printer software/program to your computer and if you don't have the setup disc for it what you can do is to download the printer software from this link and then run it to install the complete software for the printer to your computer.
Just click HERE and proceed with the download of the software and once done run it to install the complete software for the printer.

reinstall your printer driver.
it helps correcting the usb port communication.

Right hand click on the printer driver and check if the printer has not been paused.
try using another usb cable, the usb cable could be faulty
Also set the printer so that it is the default printer.
Uninstall the printer driver and reinstall the driver

Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

The printer should accpet every paper only requires adjusting the feeder area fo every new brand paper that is inserted on device. Inspect the devices feeder compartment for appropiate size requested of the paper. Also, the printing paper has size adjustment details required to fit into the printer. Once observed, the feeder compartment would require manually adjusting to fit new paper size to achieve printerbility. Also, power on the computer to test print the new adjustments. The printer commnads too allows to sleect the appropiate shapes requested considerign the type of pape inserted in feeder comparments. Circumspectively, perform printer feeder compartment adjustments and test print a page to ascertain the most possible condition ot the new settings.

Click Start and then go to Printers and Faxes (XP), Printers(Vista), Devices and Printers(Win 7)
1. Right Click on your printer Icon 2. Click Open or See What's Printing 3. Click the option that says Printer on the upper left corner of the window that pops up. 4. Make sure the only thing that is checked under that menu is Set As Default Printer. 5. If Use Printer Offline or Pause Printing has a check mark. Uncheck it.
