if the wireless blue light is blinking, it means it's not connected to the router or it's not communicating with it.If wireless blue light is solid ,it means it's connected to the network.
you will need to reconnect the printer to the network by using a USB cable.it will configure the wireless connection.

1. to start the installation ,click on the start button on the computer
2. click on programs or all programs depending on the operating system on the computer
3. look for the HP folder and then left-click on it
4. inside the HP folder,left-click on DESKJET 3050a or DESKJET 3050 series
5. inside the DESKJET 3050 folder, left-click on product setup and software
6. left-click on connect a new printer
7. it will open up a page with options on how to connect the printer
8. select wireless and then hit next
9. if you are prompted to connect the usb ,please connect it
10. if it asks you whether printer is connected to the network,select no
11. click on next
12. if usb is already plugged in,tick the box that says it's already plugged in
13. hit next
14. wait for the prompt to unplug the cable
15. try printing wirelessly

Use ultrasonic head cleaner. Its effective and clean.

your going to have to take it all out and peal all the bits of stuck label out manually, if you have some alcohol maybe gin, give it a clean too, the sticky will pass on to the rollers and make a mess of everything, if its an inkjet then you may have to use damp cotton to clean the ink units, good luck.

To fix the power button, which is stuck down or does not spring back up....remove the panel which has the all the buttons and the power button, the panel does not have any screws to remove, you got the pull it out from the lower side and move slowly towards the top. Once the panel is free, you will see that the power button is connected with a small plastic connector which would be broken, fix the broken piece or get a new piece and the problem is fixed........

this is common problem in this printer is , due to logic board problem the printer is not initilize.

I have a Laser Jet 3050..when I try to load a oaoer to copy or fax, paper does not move...just gears moving but paper is not being pick up...any solutions?
