In my all in one

The printer thinks that you have a paper"clogged" when the rolls that move the paper rotate with difficulty. So either there's something in there that is blocking the rolls or the plastic bearings on which the rolls turn are seized by dirt.
To fix both of that you will have to dismantle the printer: the plastic case ill have to be detached from the body. It's quite complicated, removing some screws and popping some tabs without doing any other damage will be difficult if you haven't done that before so try to find a shop that would do it on the cheap. Otherwise you will have to try to dismantle it yourself - you have nothing to lose if you damage it, it dead as it is now anyway.

Epson stylus cx3810 printer paper jam

I had a small piece of plastic get jammed in the mechanism that loads the paper, it is a pretty simple fix as long as you are careful about organizing parts as you remove them. Step 1: remove the small plastic panel where the usb connects, this exposes all the wiring for the scanner, you will need to carefully remove 2 plastic connectors each with four or five wire, then remove the ribbon cable from the slot. There is a screw in a clamp that holds it tight, loosen that and make sure all the wires are clear. Moving that ribbon cable will expose a screw holding the scanner on, remove that screw, then look at the other hinge, remove the screw on top and the scanner assembly should just slide off, be mindful of the wires while you do this.
Step 2: remove the control pannel, slide the control pannel towards the back of printer, it should just slide out, disconnect the ribbon cable and set it aside.
Step 3: Remove all the screws from the top cowl, should be seven screws total, i just leave them in the deep slots and keep the piece level as I remove it. That should give you access to the internals to remove anything that was jammed in the printer.
Note: Any time I do a project like this I always make sure to lay out all my screw visually in the same way they came out, since there are several different kinds of screws. Just follow the process in reverse to reassemble, making sure you reconnect all the ribbon cables and wire connectors.

Epson CX3810 not printing

If you haven't been printing for a year, your print head is most definitely clogged. You did clog it, by not printing :)
First of all, clean the ink that is in your printer (use toilet paper or some tissue).
Then you need to clean the print head. To do that:
  1. Turn your printer on.
  2. On your computer, go to START, then SETTINGS, find PRINTERS AND FAXES and click on that.
  3. A window will open and you should see your printer. Right click on it, then click on PROPERTIES.
  4. A window will open, with several tabs. The one you need is MAINTENANCE. Open the tab and click on CLEAN PRINT HEAD. I think there are 2 options, cleaning and deep cleaning. Click on deep cleaning. You should hear the printer rumbling, then, when it finishes, it should print a page with 4 colors: black, cyan, magenta and yellow.
  5. If the colors come out right, you're done. If not, repeat the cleaning until you get a satisfying result.
Just bear in mind that cleaning the print head uses a lot of your ink!

Also, to avoid getting in this situation again, I suggest that you print one page, at least once in 10 days. That way, your print head should always work fine.

If you found my answer helpful, please vote, it really means a lot to me to know weather I am helping someone or not.

Cartriges are full, no black printing

Did you use Epson Genuine Cartridges?
ALL…. Epson & Brother Requires Genuine Cartridges. !!!!!!!!
That sounds like your problem.

In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4600, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. I also Purchased a Brother MFC-240C All-In-One InkJet Printer. That also does not like Generic Print Cartridges. Color that should be Yellow, will turn out Green, Blue Brown, etc.

These printers have a CHIP that will detect if it is Generic or Genuine. When they see it’s Generic Cartridges, it will print lines thru the words, stripes across the picture and also do a mix match with the colors. It also will not let you print anything, if only one of the cartridges is empty.

I wanted to print only Black, and would not let me, because I did not have any ink in one of my cyan cartridges. Go figure.

That's what these Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges. Some Printers, are able to use Generic, and some are refillable. Some you can refill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.

So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for these PRINTERS. Some people say some models work fine compatible, but not mine.......

I had to replace the printer, but Epson, Lexmark & Brothers are always on sale. My Brother & Epson cost me $50.00 with Rebate. .

IF YOU ARE USING GENERIC CARTRIDGES, MAYBE IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU DISABLE THE INK MONITOR.

This is the only advice I can give you.

The next step would be to disassemble the Epson, and clean the Pads/Heads. Click on link below.:

I located a page on http://www.fixyourownprinter.com forum, which had plenty of details about similar issues.

Thanks and Good Luck :0)

Bad print

This may be because ink is clogged in the printhead. ? Place the clogged cartridge in about 1/4 - 1/2 inch of warm water for a few minutes. When ink starts to slowly leak out take the cartridge out of the water and dry it using a soft cloth to "Q-tip." Then place it back in your printer and run the print head cleaning utility that comes with your printer software. You may have to run this 2-4 times before printing quality is reestablished. If your print head is destroyed, as can happen, you will have to buy a cartridge and refill that cartridge before it is fully empty.

Printer head pluged

Hi

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this I put down here. But after you don this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

Ok it got to be the heads blockage
There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,
It worth a try it worked for me more than ones.

Please all I ask is call back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one, so I will keep on helping.
