Pulling in multiple pages at once
Epson makes a pickup and, roller assembly for your printer as these wear out after a while and, stick. any office supply can order it for you.
Windows 8.1 print color wrong
Please replace the cartridges and see if that does the trick, if not. then try uninstalling and re-installing the printer
WILL ONLY PRINT EVERY ALTERNATE LINE OF TEXT & TEXT BOX BORDERS
Doesn't sound like your printer hardware. Try printing something other than your text document. If the page comes out clean/perfect then it means your printer is having a problem understanding your text document via print program translation. Otherwise try converting your text to pdf and print a sample page, if it works then again problem with software/printer translation.
After I changed my ink cartridge when I try to
Hi there,
Did you use a replacement ink cartridge or is it an original Epson cartridge? The only way that it will do this is if the cartridge is not seated properly or cartridge that you installed is intended for another model.
Try to reseat and review your cartridge model. Post your observations here.
I bought new ink cartridges
turn off your printer..plug out your printer power cable from the printer the plug in the cable power together with pushing the start and reset button, hold on for about 5 second
Printer is printing each color
sounds like the print head is malfunctioning. try running the head cleaner a few times from the settings menu, if that doesn't solve it you'll have to replace the entire head, at which point it may be more worthwhile to replace the printer.
In my all in one
The printer thinks that you have a paper"clogged" when the rolls that move the paper rotate with difficulty. So either there's something in there that is blocking the rolls or the plastic bearings on which the rolls turn are seized by dirt.
To fix both of that you will have to dismantle the printer: the plastic case ill have to be detached from the body. It's quite complicated, removing some screws and popping some tabs without doing any other damage will be difficult if you haven't done that before so try to find a shop that would do it on the cheap. Otherwise you will have to try to dismantle it yourself - you have nothing to lose if you damage it, it dead as it is now anyway.
Where can I find a free copy of the manual to
Unless you get someone who owns one in PDF format to send it for FREE, you will probably have to buy it- sorry- prices vary but I buy a lot of manuals from www.2manuals.com- will probably cost about $10
Cartriges are full, no black printing
Did you use Epson Genuine Cartridges?
ALL…. Epson & Brother Requires Genuine Cartridges. !!!!!!!!
That sounds like your problem.
In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4600, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. I also Purchased a Brother MFC-240C All-In-One InkJet Printer. That also does not like Generic Print Cartridges. Color that should be Yellow, will turn out Green, Blue Brown, etc.
These printers have a CHIP that will detect if it is Generic or Genuine. When they see it’s Generic Cartridges, it will print lines thru the words, stripes across the picture and also do a mix match with the colors. It also will not let you print anything, if only one of the cartridges is empty.
I wanted to print only Black, and would not let me, because I did not have any ink in one of my cyan cartridges. Go figure.
That's what these Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges. Some Printers, are able to use Generic, and some are refillable. Some you can refill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.
So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for these PRINTERS. Some people say some models work fine compatible, but not mine.......
I had to replace the printer, but Epson, Lexmark & Brothers are always on sale. My Brother & Epson cost me $50.00 with Rebate. .
IF YOU ARE USING GENERIC CARTRIDGES, MAYBE IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU DISABLE THE INK MONITOR.
This is the only advice I can give you.
The next step would be to disassemble the Epson, and clean the Pads/Heads. Click on link below.:
