Sony no longer support Sonicstage and withdrawned it from download site.

You need to purchase a new USB cable. Take the broken USB cable with you when you go to the computer shop so you can get the correct cable.

Salt water corrosion will not be the problem. Salt water will cause short circuit in the components. Highly unlikely you can fix this player even if you clean it up.

Hi,

You can install the latest version of the SonicStage (CP software version 4.3) in the Computer. This Software is not compatible with the Windows 7 OS. Click here for downloading the latest version of the Software.
Make sure that you back up the songs in the Player, Format it and then install the Software. Once the Player is formatted, then connect it with the SonicStage Software and then transfer the songs to the Player using the Software.

Easiest way would to be to visit sonys website to download drivers online, and then use their software that you download to do the rest

Please do hard rest by removing the battery

get a chip that plugs on side of phone and plug chip in computer then a site frost wire download music to chip then you will have music.

Hi I had the same problem thi smorning. To my limited knowledge, I think it was because I disconnected the port from the pebble before disconnecting it from the computer. So i just reconnected eveything back, and then disconnected the usb port first and then the jack from the pebble.

Am keeping my fingers crossed, but I think that was it! :)
