Unable to add avi files to to media library

hey,

you won't be able to sync the avi file because your type of avi is not supported in the Zen

if you have the creative software on your computer well go
into the menu and select creative, because I don't have it in front of me I can't tell you where this is though all you have to do is search through and look to find "video converter" it's as easy as that.
all you do is when you find this is browse for you file and say what format you want to format to and start formating. they will ask if you want to sync you finished file to your zen.

Zen M

Hello, Akolcheva - Even rechargeable batteries eventually lose their ability to be recharged and need to be replaced. I suspect you need to purchase a replacement battery for your Zen M, install it, and charge it for use. I see there are several online sources for ordering Zen M replacement batteries. Also, since Zen M is a product of Creative, you may find better help by posting on the relevant product forum here: http://forums.creative.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3 . Note: If you are not already registered with the Creative Products forums, you can register for free. Then, you will need to log in to post your question. Best wishes.

Wont recognize

WOW. Just....wow! Something is very wrong. Sounds like the Zen was on its death-bed before you even bought it. But there's a chance that its ok except for the motherboard. The motherboard might need to be replaced.

Computer won't recognize zen when it's connected

Mine did this too, and I have the exact reason why.
If the first solution didn't work for you (as it didn't with me), follow these instructions

Connect your Zen to the computer
-On your computer, click start, then control panel
-Click on Add Hardware
-Go through this until it shows you a list of things recently added, Creative Zen should be up top somewhere (mine was) with a yellow question mark as the icon
-Click it and have it install it
-When a list pops up asking you if you want to have it do it just this once, or everytime without asking CLICK ON EVERYTIME. Tis is what stopped it from connecting to your computer.
The drivers were not installed.
