Leaking water from washing

The next thing you should check is the discharge hose where it dumps into your house wastewater system. If you can not be in the immediate area for a wash cycle then wrap a paper bag around the dump location. Hold the bag in place loosley with string or rubber band.If the paper is wet when you return you have found the problem. Do NOT seal the dump hose to the wastewater pipe. This can cause the problem of filling the machine because there will be a vacuum that will siphon the water out.

My washer will not drain

the blockage is most likely under your clothes basket. to get to it you will need to remove the basket. you need a 7/16 socket, a pair of pliers, and a 1 to 2" putty knife. using the putty knife push the 2 releases on either side of the top about 2 to 3" in from the corner. they can be hard to release so don't be afraid to pull hard up while pushing. then open the lid and raise the top up to lean against the wall. once top is resting against wall, remove the plastic ring around the top of the tub. this releases with several tabs around the outside. the is a hose connected to this on the back left corner area. use pliers and release clamp and remove hose, then set the ring to the side.at the bottom of the tub is the impeller, agitator. at its center is a plastic button, remove this. under that is a 7/16 bolt. remove this bolt completely. then grab the plastic ring around the clothes basket and pull straight up. it may take some force to lift. once it is free remove and set on floor out of the way. the outside of the basket is like a cheese grater so be careful it can get ya. under the basket you will see your blockage. if not then you need a 1/4" socket to remove the plastic strainer at the back of the tub in the bottom. the clear the blockage and reassemble in reverse.good luck

I have a kenmore oasis # 110.27087603 the machine stopped working. i emptied the water and it begun working until it stopped at 21mins into the wash cycle. i emptied the machine and it did the same th

most likely a drain pump issue or the main board is not telling the pump to run. board is pricey for a test but the pump could be stopped. if you do not hear the drain pump running, try replacing it, if the pump hums but no water moves, you need to check intake . pump is underneath washer on the right. the left is a recirc pump and is not interchangable.

Kenmore Oasis HE won't drain

I had the exact same problem last night.

Here is what I did and it fixed it with NO PARTS or SERVICE CALL.

First, I took the drain hose and Blew through it with my mouth... I got air bubbles to come up in the wash bason, this told me the drain pump and hoses were not "Clogged"..

Next I took a shop vac and a 5 gallon bucket and used the vac to **** on the drain hose to start a siphon into the bucket...worked like a champ... I had it drained in less than 3 mins....

I Took the back cover off and then the drain pump off and took the 4-5 screws out of the mounting bracket and took the pump cover off.

What i found when I did this was that there was a VERY SMALL FLAT ROCK stuck between the impellor and the pump casing.

WIth a small screw driver I flicked out the rock and the impellor was free again... HOWEVER, When you do this, the impellor will turn half way and stop... half way and stop, half way and stop...etc.........IT WILL NOT SPIN FREELY like a top. When the motor is still attached to the pump, the armiture in the motor still gives reisitance to the impellor...This I PRESUME this to be normal..

I ended up putting it ALL back together except the back cover to test it...I turned it to a wash cycle and let it run for a few mins. Then i hit stop twice to cancel that wash request. Then i started a second wash cycle and the drain pump kicked right on to drain the water left in the basin from the first test wash..... So far she's purring like a kitten..... Fingers Crossed of course...

Showing f50

The F50 error code flashes when the motor rotor sensor (RPS) senses no motor rotation. Does the basket turn freely? If not, the cause of the friction will need to be determined. If the basket turns freely it could have a loose wire connection or a failed component.

How do we get rid of the UL code on our Kenmore

Thwere is a switch under the lid that will not spin the tub, if the lid is up. This may be bent or broken. Lift lid and shine a flashlight down the slot underneath the protrusion on the lid. you should e a'plank' across the hole. No plank the swithch or the ;Plank" is broken. Most likely the plank, or actuator.needs replaced.

To replace , and or check the actuator, you have to remove the top of the machine. On a Kenmore here are 2 screws at the top back of the washer thaqt hold down 2 metal plates that go up to the back of the control panel. When the screws and plates are removed you can pry up the top of the washer with a stout screwdriver. after removing the top you can un screw the safety inlerlock, that's what I call it, and check for the bent/broken actuator or broken switch. If all looks okay then you need to take an ohm meter and check for continuity through the switch. Place one test lead at each end of the switch, removing and marking the wires on the switch. Press the actuator and you should see less than 5 ohms on the meter, if that is okay, then it gets more involved.

Kenmore Oasis HE model 110.27086604.

Yes you will have to replace all four balancers (four corners). Same thing happened to us. We have five kids also and you can only imagine how much fun that was to do just two shirts or pants at a time. Ours was still under warranty so we had Sears fix it. Took quite a bit of time, but it is fixed now.

Kenmore Oasis Washer won't drain. "Ld" code during

Hi

Error code LD means long drain. This error appears when the washer takes more than 5 minutes to pump out the water till point where pressure switch resets. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. Hope this helps... Please post back for more information.

My kenmore oasis he model

LF Error code: LF stands for long fill and occurs when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on.

All washers are designed to operate with a water supply pressure of 20-100 PSI. When the pressure drops below 20 PSI the washer can have the following problems:

* Slow Fill- low water pressure reduces the speed at which water flows into the machine.
o Verify the pressure at all other water sources in the house (i.e. sinks, showers, etc..). If you find other places where the pressure is low, the problem is not with the machine but with the water supply.
* Continuous Fill- The valve may not fully seat under 20 PSI which would allow for a constant flow even when the machine is not supposed to be filling.
o Contact the water company to verify the pressure being supplied to the house.
* dispenser- Needs a minimum amount of pressure to function. May dispense constantly, at the wrong time, or not at all.
o A plumber may need to be consulted if the pressure is found to be too low.

Things you can check :

* Are the Hot and Cold water faucets turned on
* Are the water hoses kinked
o Make sure all the hose are straight and able to flow water
* Are the screen inside the water valve plugged
o Inlet valve should be free of debris and rust.
o Turn off water and remove the inlet hoses from washer.
o Remove any accumulated film or particles.
o Assure rubber washers are in the end of each inlet hose.
o Reinstall hoses, turn on water and check for leaks.

Error codes can be caused by a Power Surge or other electrical anomaly, attempt to return the washer to operation by following the Hard Reset procedure below.

1. Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
2. Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
3. Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the display.
4. Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts
