Convert natural gas to propane

Hi, W/D here.

I can tell you how I have done a similar appliance. I contacted my local propane company. They had all of the orifices, and cross reference guides necessary to convert it over to propane and they did it for free. Contact your local company. If your's won't do it for free like mine, they can surely get you the parts reasonably, and provide further guidance.

Best regards, --W/D--

When I try to use

The electrical wiring under the burners has been short
probably from liquids leaks during cooking.

That is why you had the spark. The only electrical part you
have to your coo top is the electric ignite nothing else. So you should remove
all burners' assemblies from the top so to reach the bottom part where the gas
pipes are located and the ignite part no 318 in drawing Spark module
Part Number:
AP3778816made by GE.

So first you can use a hairdryer do try it out and be sure there is not and liquid in it and putelectrical plug again to test it. If you still have the same problem, replacethe Spark module with a new one.

Here below you will find theparts layout of your range for all the help you might need.http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5235927&diagram_id=25698825#d25698825

Clicking cooktop

Ours clicks when the igniters are trying to fire up the burners. Is something stuck? They start as soon as you turn the knob on and the next stop turns them off. Double check each knob to make sure you don't have a bad one.

Ignitors keep making ticking sound, all burners

Probably a spillage or boil over has clogged the burner and some of the liquid has dampened the shank switch mounted on the burner post. Get a shop vac and clean the burner. Wait a day or 2 and see if the switch stops. OR disable the ticky ticky by removing the bottom drawer and looking for the spark module. Remove one of the hot wires and tape it up. Light the burners like granny does with a match. LOL If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61

Wiring for GE Cooktop 1960s

I have an early 1970s GE, and we keep saying when it breaks down, we will replace it, but apart from replacing elements, it just goes on and on. Unfortunately, neither of your numbers give results. There should be a plate near the power lead that has the details and some have a parts manual and wiring diagram in the rear of the console if it has one. https://www.google.com/search?q=GE+82212+cooktop https://www.google.com/search?q=GE+YT123887L+cooktop ..

How do you remove only the maintop cover of a GE JGP963 gas cooktop? I need to replace a part, but can't remove the maintop even after unscrewing and removing every burner.

It is a gas appliance. From the installation manual. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency or the gas supplier. It needs to come out as there is almost certainly fixings from below. Screws on the burners, only hold the burner rings down. The installation manual doesn't say how the top comes off, just how to install. No Service Manual for it. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/57348/Ge-Jgp630.html?page=1#manual ..

F152 error GE Monogram electric cooktop

Take out the right front burner and use your multimeter to check it for continuity. Only then can you be sure that the error code isn't lying to you. It is my guess, that with an error message so specific, that if no burners are working, it is not the front right burner at all. Hands on testing is the only way to be sure. F152 means the right front burner has failed, the sensor in it is bad, the burner will need to be replaced.

error code F152 ' Appliance Video

The element is $225.00 so it is not something to change on a guess. Full testing procedure here, or call for a Service Engineer. https://www.appliancepartspros.com/answers-for-ge-element-radiant-lt-wb30t10080-ap3188020-question-148609.html ..
