A) How did the Power Button Module get broken?B) Error indicates losing data and unable to leave Hibernation Mode.It's a long shot, but let's see if you can reset BIOS Settings back to default, without being able to see the BIOS Setup screen.....Remove the AC adapter (Charger)Remove the Battery.Remove the RTC Battery. (Real Time Clock. Same as CMOS Battery, but with a new name)Oh, excuse me.....Dell = Coin-Cell BatteryPower Button Module flat flex cable installed in motherboard connector, press the Power On button, hold it down for a count of 10 seconds. Solid amber indicates ON, or Standby.Did you follow Anti-Static Procedures, during the Power Button Module replacement?Plus, I'm willing to bet the Power Button Module, didn't come from Dell. Another reason they would not want to work on the laptop.They can't guarantee the replacement part is good.(They can, but there are too many liability issues)Power Button Module being broken, is what I'm concentrating on at the moment.This was the start of the problem. From it all other problems have issued.The Power On switch is a Momentary Contact Switch.The carbon contact Power On switch on that Power Button Module.
