I need more info. Are you using antenna connected to RF input or are you using cable box, sat box or ATT Uverse? If connected to antenna . go in menu or Home on Sony. Press setup and look for channel scan. Set to antenna and do auto scan. If cable or other provider box set tv to ch 3 or what ever provider says. You are then using the tuner in that box. You will use providers remote to change channels. Be sure in setup that tv is set to cable if cable box is used. Hope this helps but the info you posted could be more descriptive.

IKR Error at power on 05. 5 blinks denotes this. Actually, the fault is related to its main digital board, and the work will not an easy one. Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timslide option, and see whether there is something to help you. If you're not sound in electronics, no need to proceed. Contact any service technician or authorized service centre for Sony.

Either USE a HDMI cable or VGA Cable !

does the screen go black when the screen goes out?

Check the speakers first. If they are OK, replace the audio output card.

I have a Sony model KDL-32BXR6 that the TV Guide first showed no listings this past weekend. Last night when I entered the Guide the screen displaying the Setup/Display Setup Progress came up stating "In Progress". Same thing this morning. Something must have changes with the input signal if this occurred with two different sets.

There is no user replaceible fuse in them. If it doesn,t turn on it went into, What is called the protect mode for some reason, On;y choice is to take it in to have it repaired,

Here are a few more troubleshooting steps you can try when your TV picture is just snow. I see that you have already rebooted your TV, but did you turn your set-top box off and on, too?1. Does the picture show when you play a DVD? 2. Check all of the connections between the TV, outlet and set-top box and make sure everything is secured.3. Is your TV set to the correct channel (typically 3, but in some areas 2 or 4)? 4. Press any key on the remote to see if the correct mode lights up. (Ex: if you have cable, the cable button should light up). If it doesn't, press the correct mode's button to regain control and change channels.5. tried to re seat the LVDS cable in the t-con board.

if the screen or display is physically damaged you are done as the part costs more than a replacement set.
