This is the picture of the t'Con baor to your TV. Check the backlight inverter board too for any loose solderings.
TV wont turn on. Red
Unless you feel qualified to diagnose electronic circuit boards then it needs to be seen by a technician because the blinking light is a code for what board has gone bad and usually when one goes bad there is other issues as well, but not always. Most likely it is your power supply board as they tend to die more frequently due to the heat involved in them. Unfortunatly there are no resets for this condition.
Bravia wont power on
Good day!!!!
TV won't power ON..
This is the common problem..
Power supply board or main board..
Please try this procedure to determine the faulty parts.
- Open the back cover.
- Check the input of the power supply board it should have 220vac or 110vac depends on your voltage comes from the outlet.
- If you don't have voltage input of PSU..Please or try to replace the power cord.
- If you have voltage input on PSU..Please check the output voltage of it..It should have 5vdc for the main board,12 or sometime 16vdc for the audio and 24vdc for the inverter board(back-light).
- If you encounter voltage drop on the output..Please check the power supply board if have leak/bulged on the top capacitors..Please replace it with the same type, ratings and value.
- If the 3 voltages mention above are normal..Your main board is defective you need to replace it because main board is not for D.I.Y repair due to the surface mount type parts on it..

Standby button is flashing and tv will not turn on
Hi,
The Standby/Power light of the TV blinks when there is any internal malfunction in the TV. The self-diagnostic function of the TV will cause the STANDBY light to blink or flash when the television detects an issue. The number of times the STANDBY light flashes corresponds to a specific issue.
Few examples are given below; some of the issues may be resolved without the need for service.
1 blink / 2 blinks / 5 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set.
3 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set. The set will need to be serviced to allow a technician to determine the specific issue that needs to be repaired. If the power light flashes three times in sequence in a Lamp TV, the lamp cover is not securely attached. Reattach the lamp cover to resolve this issue.
4 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a back light or lamp power problem.
6 blinks: - This indicates that there is some kind of audio problem with your set.
7 blinks: - This indicates that there is a temperature problem with your set. Please check to make sure that the air vents on the sides and back of the set are not blocked or clogged and there is adequate ventilation around the television. We recommend that you check and clean the vents periodically to make sure the set receives adequate air flow. If the problem continues, the set will need to be serviced.
8 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a video-related problem with your set. If the flash sequence is not listed above or the light continues to flash, follow the steps below to perform a power reset:
Try the following steps to check if the issue can be resolved.
Turn off the television.
Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
If the issue continues to occur, service may be required.
Thanks for using Fixya.

My T.V. can't be shut off or on or volume
Hello
The remote sensor inside your tV is faulty. Remote sensor can be located just behind the remote sensor window on the front panel. It will look like a square or round very small window, which will be covered with transparent glass type material. through this window, the infrared signal rays from your remote control falls into a sensor which is fitted inside. it will be soldered to a printed circuit board, will have three solder terminals. Will look brownish-black in colur. You have to open your TV and unscrew out the board to which it is fitted. There will be a number, usually printed by ink or laser printed. This number is most important to note when you replace it. The component can be brought from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town. If you have the concept of desoldering and soldering, you yoursef can replace it at home. OK.
Tv powers on then off will not stay on
When it shuts off, does the LED at the front start blinking? If yes please count the number of blinks and let me know so that I can tell you what the problem is. Its a self-test diagnostic code so please observe carefully.

Tele turned itself off, red light blinks 4 times
You can try unplugging it for a while and then plugging it back in, but according to the manual, the standby LED:
Lights up red when your TV is in PC power saving mode. If the LED blinks in red continuously, this may indicate the TV needs servicing.
