If this TV is a DLP. It is common to get insects get inside. They are harmless. It will take an effort to remove them. Let them be...they will soon die and fall out of sight. Thanks for asking me.

Change the power socket its plugged in to.. if that doesnt help maybe you use it too much and it overheats so it cuts.

Can it be put in English?

Just called Sony about this same problem...taking your CABLE BOX remote, push the # key on the bottom right of the remote (it also says HD Zoom on mine). You can cycle through 4 or 5 zoom options...make sure you are on an HD channel to see the changes. :)

You see youtube through the internet and chanel 5 is through an aerial you need to connect.

I wold open up the tv, reset the T-conn ribbon cable. If no fixed then the T-conn is to blame. Hope it helps.

check if cable is good and if so try enhancing brightness from pc to max. when its dark, menu colour is dark as well? if so that is a problem on the motherboard and not pc or cable, if not it means its a wrong setting somewhere

It sounds that the CCFL lamp at the lower part is faulty. The fault is with its back-light itself. Check it.
