Sorry,the tv LCD screen panel it is very important and the most exspensive part of the tv and very limited in productions as parts by the tvs industries.U will not able find it for a LCD screen panel for a replacement anywhere except the tv corporations themselves.As the tvs LCD screens panels are in limited in productions and very important to the tvs,they'll sell it to,but they'll charges for a new LCD screen panel to u the same as a new tv.Sorry ur tv dosen't worth as a whole tv anymore.Tv now only can be used as a salvavges tv for it as refurbish used electronics circuit boards for other tvs as parts only now.

HelloIf you can buy one NTSC to PAL converter, you can use this device with your TV which has only PAL system. But it will be very difficult to get it from New Zeland, as these type of device will have no market at your country, and the no dealers will stock it of sell it. I assumes that your daughter is now in US or other countries, whch have only NTSC system adopted for both transmission and reception. Just ask her, whether dhe can get this type of device there. OK.

there is a get around for this fault if you locate panel v26c look at the bottom rh corner you will find 2 test points tp11 and tp 12 if you then look on the rhs of the lcd panel actualy mounted on the side (you will have to remove the metal frame from around the screen ) you will find another panel with 2 more points tp 506 and tp507 simply solder a wire link between tp11to tp506 and another from tp12 to tp507 and that should be a permanent fix to this problem

The power supply have problems,not giving the tv the wright voltge anymore.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply boad for the replacement.

Are you a technical person?if not,ignore my tips...

check the supply voltage From power supply section going to inverter board.
maybe a leak capacitor of the supply voltage of the inverter board...

Had similar problem. Replace the battery with a new one.

two options use the RCA audio out (red and white) on the back or side of the tv to connect to a home theatre system also you could use the headphone jack to connect to a home theatre system or some sort of external speakers. other than that it doesnt look like you have too many options on that model of tv if you need the owners manual here is the link for an online version.

you should go into your tv's setup menu and go to the tuner settings and make sure it is set to CATV (cable tv) and not Antenna/Air also splitting a cable to many times can cause the signal to weaken and gain a lot of noise/distortion that could be an issue that can only be solved by having the company come to the house and do a test ALSO when your in the tuner menu in under your tv's setup menu try adding a non local channel manualy and then see if the tv will tune to it, if so then you might have to add them manually at the worst... my guess is that it is not set to CATV/cable tv hope this helps and if not i hope someone else can.

It's unusual for these remotes to break down, but they often suffer from bent contacts in the battery slot.

When the battery is inserted with the tray, if makes contact with a spring terminal on the main board, and a spring terminal at the back of the battery.

First check that the replacement battery is the correct type. If the replacement is too fat, then the board spring has probably been flattened, otherwise the back spring has probably been pushed in.

Either way, its quite easy to fix.

Board Spring: using a thin wire, such as a paperclip or precision screwdriver. gently lift the two contacts from the back until they stay up from the board.

Back spring: using the same tool, hook into the loop on the contact, and gently pull forward.

This will ensure that proper contact is made when the battery is inserted.

Don't worry if you pull the contacts too far, because the battery will push them back.
