You must reseat the black sensor flag on the document processor cover. Open the cover and you will see the right position. The flag gets into the optic sensor from the back.

make a copy from the document feeder and see if the lines are there. then copy from the platen glass and see if the lines are there. then print to it and see if the lines are there. if the lines ONLY occur when feeding through the document feeder then check the slit glass VERY carefully for debris like gel pen ink and whiteout or other stuff. even one little speck on the thin slitglass will appear as a line on a copy through the adf. if it happens on ALL tests. then it could be a scored drum, bad dv unit, secondary transfer, or fuser.

only frm the document feeder ? lay it on the glass if the lines gone check the slit glass or if you switch from oem toner to generic or viceversa get a new developer and drum also make surethe fuser dosnt look worn

unfortunately I don't think there is a way to fix the noise from the drum other then replacement if the machine is under warrenty rma the drum

pick print on both sides (flip long edge or flip short edge) in the print driver. go to kyocera support to download latest kx driver if the options are not found in your current driver

It's the small door at the very front of the machine...located directly above the main paper feed tray. Just pull it open and lower it down. MP stands for Multi-Purpose and is for different paper types and sizes that are not available from the main tray.

The waste toner sensor has detectedthat the waste toner reservoir (drum unit)is full.FS 1128 has drum and developer as separate unit, waste toner gets collected in the drum unit . Right or left side of the drum unit has a cap fasted with screw, open it and remove the waste toner.Refix the drum and this will solve the probelm

The waste box is integrated into the drum unit housing. DIRTY JOB without a toner vac. There are two ports (one one each side). The covers pry off. The service manual doesn't cover this because they want you to replace the drum.
