How do I setup a

To setup a wireless mouse regardless of its type, do the following:

1. Insert the USB transmitter (this could look like a mini plug or a stick) and wait for windows to complete installation.
2. Once this is successful, turn on the mouse by holding down the power button. Or insert the disc that came with the mouse and run the installer. The installer will install the device drivers and setup your mouse's configuration panel which will reside in your system tray.

Make sure that the mouse has batteries and that it is switched on for it to work. It will glow red when it is switched on.

Hi,
I had the same problem and finally i solved it. I don't have English Windows (Win7) so some phrases could be inaccurate.
1) When the mouse is found in the Add Device Dialog, use your touchpad or keyboard (use TAB and arrows to select and SHIFT F10 shortcut for rightclick) to rightclick on the device image and hit properties.
2) Tick "Drivers for keyboard or mouse (HID)" and then press apply and ok. Driver will be updated and your mouse should work now.

I hope this will help you, bye Vlada

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

If you are having problems with the buttons, I suggest that you take the mouse back to where you bought it and have it replaced. It might be a broken mouse.

I hope this helps. Thanks and good day.

Hi Yechial,

Wireless devices often have sync buttons (normally under both reciever and mouse) that re-establish communication if it gets lost. Try pressing one or both.

If you have another mouse to test the port, that would rule it out as the problem.

Try these out,

Mike

The mouse and the receiver must be paired together. Press the reset button on the mouse and then press the one on the receiver. If this does not work and the mouse is still under warranty return it for a refund and buy a different mouse. This mouse is problematic.
