your best bet is to backup your actual data on the tablet. Then do a fresh install (formating the drive) instead of repairing. This should let the install go through 100%. If it doesnt then i would look into it being a HD issue. But its better to do the fresh install first. Usually does the trick

MBR stands for Master Boot Record. It is an essential piece of information written on the Hard Drive that allows the program to load. If the MBR is corrupted the computer boot process cannot proceed.You have to repair it.On old systems with a floppy drive you would get a Win98 boot disk on a floppy, boot the system using the A:drive (floppy) then use a DOS command to refresh the Master Boot Record. Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no "Replacement" part for this. It will have to be fixed by the Manufacturer. It isn't a "Part" per-say, but a circuit on the motherboard itself. All, There is DEFINITELY A PEN IN THE CX2620 stylii. I just replaced mine with a AAAA battery. The old one (which is a AAAA size, you can find these inside 9-volt batteries) had acid buildup on its positive end and that is why the pen went inactive. There is a lot of debate over this pen problem and I guarantee 90% of the time it's related to the battery. I can do a clean replace on anybody's CX2620 pen/stylii with a fresh battery for $10. I know there are a lot of dead stylii out there and people don't know what to do, took me a while to figure it out.

cleaning it with spybot does not really clean your computer all the way. try to get reformat that way it will uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your cd drive. also, that would get rid off the bug totally from your computer. let me know how it goes

Are you sure that the lock button is completely in the unlocked position? If so, once this happened to me, and I removed the battery for about 5 minutes, then reconnected it and the computer powered up.
