get the on screen menu up
find the aspect ratio and adjust it to the correct ratio for the screen --ok-- then exit
if it is a digital tv it may be the pixel setting for the screen

you have to go into setting turn off the on line feeds, inter net
function, if you have wifi function through box and your computer you have to go into control panel open network and sharing and open than open change advance sharing setting and choice the settings you perfer
i turn off media streaming, public fold sharing, file and printing sharing
save changes and reboot
You are probably looking at a component input, which is a high definition set up. Often the red/yellow/white (or composite) inputs on newer TV's are located on the side for easy access. Check both the left and right side of the set to see if thats where they are.
if they are not there, what model LG TV do you have?
It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television.
