1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.
Turning on Microphone of Viewsonic VX2255 LCD Display
The microphone setup should be with the communication software that you will be using such as SKYPE or OoVoo set up panel. It will not be at the monitor. I use OOVOO because I can do video call with six people at once.

if no any light indicator at the front panel of the monitor, the cause would be power supply failure. to do the check up, you must need to remove the back cover. the power supply board it was connected the power cord. look for a blown fuse and a

Hi there, My problem is the same as many other
OK, on the left side of the LARGE
HEATSINK, you can see 5 Electrolytic caps for the DC secondary side power supplies.
You need to load the power supply for the inverter circuits with TWO 12v car bulbs in series (equal to 24v) to see if the inverter power supply can handle the load (make sure NOT to turn on the front panel power switch, that way the inverter circuits will not be activated, the power supply will stay on the minute the power cord is plugged into the outlet, it will be running 24/7 even when the monitor power switch is in the OFF mode. If the power supply check out OK, then you may have bad lamp assemblies, you will need lamp tester or inverter tester (I use spare lamp assemblies from broken LCD panel) to isolate the problem.

From SAMSUNG WEBSITE/SUPPORT/DOWNLOAD PAGE, or from the CD that come with this monitor if it is compatible with MAC.

Hi!
Do you have proper tools and know how for this. If yes. then let's fix it.
First, using necessary tools like philip screw and flat screw should be used to unscrew the screws at the back. You can us the flat screw driver to detach the back cover from the frame.
You will be needing extra care cause otherwise, you might inflict serious damage to your monitor.
Once the back cover was remove, examine the cable that connects the board and the lcd. White background most often results from loose connection between this cable and the lcd. Reseat it and make sure it is properly connected.
Try turning on the printer.. but be very careful with all the components make they will not short. See if there is signal on the lcd. If still there is no signal and the background is white then you might need to replace the lcd screen.
Periodically the display blinks off, comes back
Viewsonic has had problems for years and years - i junked one recently - J U N K - sorry - but this is my personal experience. I put a lot of money in mine before I junked it and I will not ever buy Viewsonic anything. I went with Hanns-G or just Hanns - they are great.
My monitor shows nothing but a white screen
This is typically a sign of a video card that is not working right. The other possibility with ViewSonic is that the monitor went bad. MNy best advice is find someone with a known working computer and hook the monitor up and see if it works or not. That way, you can determine if it is the monitor or the computer. Also, the VX2255 may be under warranty. A visit to viewsonic.com will help you determine if they can repair/replace (if your test finds the screen to be bad.) Be sure to un plug the monitor from the wall; wait a moment, and plug back in to determine if a power blip may have caused an issue too.
Best of luck.
