Try looking here http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/global , and you should be able to find the software and drivers for your player. It's a free download, and I believe the Emodio software is the current download for your player. Good Luck!

Are you converting the videos to the .svi format that the T9 recognizes? If not, try this:
A. Get the T9 software from the samsung support site and install it on your computer.
B. Let the software find the video on your computer.
C. Right click on the desired video and select "convert" from the menu.
D. After the conversion drag and drop the .svi video into the Video folder in the T9's memory.
E. Enjoy your video!
Good Luck!
I try to put videos
Hi. In order to put videos on the Samsung T9 player, you need to use the included software (Samsung Media Studio 5) to convert the video to the .svi format that the player recognizes. You didn't say if you'd used that software or not, so I can't be more specific about a solution until you let me know exactly what you've tried so far. If you don't have the software, it or it's follow-on should be available on the Samsung support website. Just use that to convert it and then put it into the Video folder in your player (drag and drop). I've loaded videos as large as 50 minutes on mine and it worked just fine. Good luck!

Won't turn on
I had the same problem and was considering buying a new MP3 player when i discovered a post that said "hold down the record and menu button" i tried this and it didnt work so i held down the record and power button and WALLA! I thought it was dead because it is over 3 years old :O
Will not come on or charge
Hi, battery cell might be too weak to power the mp3 on, you can try out another battery to test if it is the battery.
If it is battery, when getting a new one, make sure after purchase, you charge till it shows 100% before you use to save you the stress of getting another one. So that the cell inside the battery will work properly.
you can also check the charger if still working properly.
My computer will not reconize my yp-t9j even after
Try going into the settings and changing the USB mode or look for a setting called MSC mode it will work out of the box with just about any MP3 player and any OS (W*ndows, Linux). MTP mode will work as long as you have WMP 10 or 11 installed. Firstly, I will try to explain MSC mode and MTP mode and what they mean.
MSC stands for Mass Storage Class. When your player is in this mode, the computer will see it the same way it would see a Thumb drive or flash drive, as a removable disk. It will assign the first available drive letter to your device, as well as one for the memory card (if it uses one and it is installed). This is probably the more popular of the 2 modes, and is a more "open source" type of standard. Most computers detect the player in this mode without a problem very well and right away.
MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. It is a Microsoft standard and is Microsoft's solution to connecting MP3 players and cameras to a w*ndow based Computer. MTP mode must be used in order to transfer ANY Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected content. MP3's downloaded form services like Rhapsody and Napster will only function in this MTP mode.
Most good MP3 players will have both of these modes at the users options.
Way not playing video
Yes all the songs will be deleted if you do a format. Try this way of deleting only the songs you want without having to format the player:
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You
